AT&T Sucks!
Wow I dont think I have been this mad since the 12th. Just cause I am not a premier member means I get sent to the back of the line, and I ordered early at 11:52pm(pst), before 90% of anybody.. Feal so disrespected by ATT and I just can't take this anymore.
Although I'm beyond mad I'm happy you guys have all got good news. And R getting yr devices...

I was in the same boat with a back ordered SG 128GB 6+, stood in line on the 19th and opted to go with SG 128GB 6 bc it seemed to be the right size for me.
They sold a lot of iPad mini's that day bc the store staff was telling everyone they got a (16GB) "iPad mini for $200
for signing up for the Next plan that day. , it would be $10/mo more to add it to your data plan." I found out the other night that was a complete lie! I wasn't told I was signing a 2 year contract and adding a line for the ipad!
AT&T defrauded customers as the deal is clear on their website that the iPad mini is available for $200 with a 2 year service commitment.
AT&T lied to and defrauded customers in this store (and probably many more)by telling customers like myself that this was deal for being a Next customer and lying by omission about the 2 year contract. They lied to and defrauded other customers to get them to sign up for Next "to get an iPad mini for $200! when signing up for the Next plan."
I'm disgusted that AT&T lied about this deal/promo just to push the Next plan and sell an ipad w/ a 2 year contract.
The icing on the cake is every time AT&T even looks at my bill it goes up and you need a PHD in AT&T billing to decipher it. Trying to decide if I want to keep the ipad or return it I called 611 to try to get an understanding of what my total bill will be. The rep told me she had no idea what it will be, because "local governments determine their taxes." When I pressed and said when I buy an airline ticket they automatically know how much it will be with taxes and fee's, that AT&T sends me the bill every month, AT&T prepares the bill, so someone should be able to give me a guestimate at the least. This rep then tells me "we don't add the taxes and fees, we send your bill to your local government, they add the taxes and fees, then send you the bill." WHAT?!!! I want to make sure I didn't misunderstand her ridiculous lie and said "So what you're telling me is that AT&T sends a bill to each customer's local government, the government then adds the taxes and fees and then my local government sends me the bill?" To which she replies "yes sir, so you can see why I can't tell you what your total bill will be." Really!?! The lying of AT&T customer reps seem to be out of control lately. I really think they are trying to top each other for their stories on their lunch break... "Oh yea, I told a customer today that AT&T sends his bill to his local government, his local government adds their taxes and fees, then sends him his bill." (then they ll bust out laughing)
My bill over the last year with a discount via work and my $37 (and change) next plan had been around $115/month and now my bill looks like it will be about $175-$180 a month but the only changes to my account were (-next $37.50 +next 42.50) +$/10 for an ipad....
The same happened last year when the 2 year contract was up on my 4s and bought my 5s on Next. My bill had faithfully been $98/$99 for 2 years, I sign up a $37.50/month device to my account. If I pay for the taxes upfront on the phone and every thing else stays the same my bill should be $136.50, so why is my bill well over $150? I go through a $15x bill and $99 line by line with a supervisor, by golly everything besides the phone is the same... It took days for them to get to me with some BS justification for the added $15/month.
Do you see the game they play? You have 2 weeks to return the devices but they don't prepare their outrageous bill until way after that!!!
