AT&T Pre-order status iPhone 6 Plus (only)

Spoke to Secretary of Chairman of the Board

I have joined macrumors today so I can pass on my conversation. I didn't order my iphone 6 plus until the 13 th and had a date from 11/9-11/27. I am 82 and my DH is a disabled legally blind vet and I e mailed Randall's email adress and was surprised to recueve a call back from his secretary. Very disappointing to be told the phone on back order and isn't scheduled to ship til November. I know this but thought they might give me something more than this. She did say that could always change but gave me no encouragement at all so i am going to just have to wait I guess. :confused:
 
AGAIN EVERYONE, IF YOU'VE CALLED THE 877# AND YOUR STATUS HAS CHANGED FROM BACK ORDERED TO PROCESSING FOR SHIPMENT, THERE'S A VERY GOOD CHANCE YOUR PHONE WILL BE SHIPPING SOON (WITHIN THE NEXT 24-48HRS).

I have yet to see anyone prove this theory otherwise and seems to be legit.

Call 877# and see if your order is "being processed"! I bet it is!

It is funny. I too got that mail during first half of day. by early afternoon my phone was shipped from Fort Worth. Now in town will be dropped off in a few hours. Not sure the connection (if any) but it seems to be my experience also???????
 
Regarding taxes and next plan

I addition I was told that the next plan and the taxes will be billed a month after activation of phone.

My phone just shipped - ups tracking (not fedex) on att order status page!

Last night 877# was backordered.
This morning - processing!

Now - shipped via ups!

Do not give up hope people!

The Next plan an taxes will be billed a month after phone is activated per Randall's secretary

I'm sort of in the same boat, however I reordered on the 20th. I have an estimated shipping date of 10/20 to 11/7.

I'll be glad when all these pre orders are taken care of so people who have a more in common ship date as me start posting. I was hoping for next week, but they still haven't got to all the pre orders yet and the week is almost over.

I'm a premier customer and originally ordered on 9/12 at around 3:15AM. I canceled my order unfortunately.

Happy for you. Pissed at ATT i ordered at 3:30am EST on the 12th and I am still on back order for the same unit

I ordered hours after everyone else on the 12th...have ship date of 11/9-11/27 since day one.

That's crazy how you ordered after me and have a better shipping date...lol! I agree maybe once they get these pre-orders out things will make more sense? Am I reaching here?:)
 
16gb SG ordered on the 12th, still back ordered, still says preparing to ship with 10/2 - 10/13 dates. All hope is lost. (Premier)
 
After all this messed up pre-order, cancelling and getting the iPhone 6 plus 64GB SG from Apple on 9/21..

Returning back as it is not usable using one hand, not talking about browsing or messaging while sitting, but while walking when I want to take a picture where my other hand have my bag u just cant do it with ease.

Returning and getting iPhone 6

Did you really order at 6:30 am EST!?!? 3 hours after me and I'm still "preparing for shipment"? Ugh.

Yeah, it is crazy. There is something seriously wrong with the pre order system. When I ordered the second time, everything went much more smoothly. I got a confirmation email right away and a text not long afterward.

When I pre ordered on the 12th, I didn't get a confirmation until three hours later.

Another thing I noticed is the cancel button has never appeared my current order. When I preordered, the cancel button was there and then came back and never left. I was also allowed to cancel really easy. I now wish they hadn't allowed me to cancel.

Mine is on auto pay and my phone status hasn't changed since it went through about a week ago.
 
Has anyone received a shipping notification today, especially those whose 877 status changed from backordered to processing in the last 12 hours or so?
 
My iPhone 6 Plus 128 GB Space Gray is still saying backordered on the 877 number and still showing 10/13 - 10/22 on the website. No movement. Ordered via AT&T website 8:05 EDT 9/12
