Well, I went from backordered to processing but the date still says 10/2 to 10/13. This good or nothing at all?

I'm really happy to see this. I also had same shipping date. This morning as I posted earlier I got a call from the CEOS secretary. I had contacted his email yesterday. A couple days ago someone on this thread talked about contacting ATt CEO. Explained my situation. We r 82 and dh is legally blind vet. I hoped they could give me some encouragement. But instead she made it very plain I wouldn't recieve my phone before November. Now I see this and I really believe they are covering there A and not making any commitments. I believe all the phones will be coming in a couple weeks. The criticism I gave was to her was some one sure screwed up. No response to that. She was really abrupt but I'm sure under a lot of stress. I was so surprised to get call. I don't know why they bothered.

Just went from back-order to processing a few minutes ago.. ( the little things makes me happy ) still expected to ship between 10/2 -10/13.. but at least it's progress.

I still am. lol. I've seen other people stuck at "processing" for days after being moved from "backordered", so who knows.

I just got my 6plus space grey all activiated and it's really nice. For anyone who wants to know I ordered on pre order day at 3am and just got my phone today. Once you call the 877# and it goes from back ordered to processing you will know it should be coming soon. Everyone stay positive
I've had those hunches 2-3 times per day. Every time someone posts something like this, I go and check, getting my hopes up only to be inevitably dashed.
Checked 877 again having last checked an hour ago (had a hunch with all these sudden processed orders) and mine has suddenly gone into processing.
EXCEPT THIS TIME MINE IS PROCESSED TOO!

Apparently no one is refuting your theory of 877# going from Backordered to processing and receiving the phone 1-2 days later.
I am also from PR and curious to know if shipment through UPS or Fedex, can you let me know when you get shipment info? greatly appreciated

Someone from PR said that here is delivered by USPS.
So this year we got screwed by ATT yet again, our deliveries this year are by USPS Express
About a year ago I received my iphone 5s via UPS, then about 4 months ago I received my Galaxy S5 via FedEx. So, I think we are an special case hahaha.
877 Number just switched to PROCESSING for me. Let's hope I get my tracking number soon!

You know I have issues when I was in the Apple Store and they had 6plus with sprint and I really thought about switching. Uggggggggggg. I am still at 10/31-11/11 date.

Kind of upset with this whole saga. Could not upgrade when pre-orders went live. Got it to work the morning on 09/12 (9am) and placed my order. Off the bat got the estimated delivery of 11/09-11/27. But I was charged the full price along with a 2 year contract. Made zero sense and had to call CS, then an appt in store and nobody could help. Finally had to cancel and re-order. This worked and was charged the discounted price but my order was placed on 09/16 and I'm sure I was bumped back a bunch.
Chatted with Apple and they said if I ordered through them today I could get it 10/24-10/31.
Not sure if I should cancel and go that route.
