actually, if you contact fedex and ask if you can pickup at the ship center and it gets sorta you will be able to. If fedex doesnt have to deliver it to you then that saves them money. why wouldn't they do it...

My wife's phone said the same thing on the 877# and then a short time later got notification shipped...be here Monday. Unfortunately my 16gb + sg still says back order even though we ordered at the same time.

That makes me feel a lot better. Thank you. I never thought a stupid phone would make me this nuts. I hope you get tracking soon on yours. That's the stuff that drives me nuts. Order at same time and you got nothing. Makes me think they are sitting in a warehouse pulling numbers out of a hat. Ridiculous
AT&T. 877.782.8870. When your status goes from back order to in process you should get shipping notice a few hours later.
-ordered on preorder night 9/12, said 14-21 shipping days
-ordered placed on 3:11am CDT
and of course there was something wrong with payment on my card and had to call in to talk to att reps(took forever)
-changed my payment to another card
-checked my order and said i placed order on 9/13
-called back once again and talked to them and they gave me an 11/9 - 11/27 ship date
-then it changed to 10/13 - 10/22 and stayed there ever since
saw the people in the forums calling the 877# so i decided to have a go at it. and what to my surprise, got backordered like everyone else. and then finally today i called around 8:30ish and said processing, FINALLY. keep up hope everyone!

You will get shipping in 24 hours, doesnt matter what she says after you hear "processing"

I was told my the CSR that there is a shortage on 16gb because it was that most popular one bought. My wife is highly upset. I'm hoping to find her one around my area because she's jealous now that she sees my 64gb SG

Finally something!! I called the 877 number for the hundredth time today and it is now saying order processing instead of backordered! Still no emails, texts, or updates on my AT&T account. My order info below.
