I'm starting to think I'm never going to get my phone...
My first post here on MacRumors and wanted to chime in.

I wish I had ordered at least a 64 GB. I'm afraid the 16GB in Gold are going to take awhile. Oh well hang in there
If it's any help, check your local Targets. Targets around me have 16gb in stock in all colors.

Indeed. A perfect example of how screwed up AT&T's system really is. You order your phone 15 minutes before I do, and don't get shipping until 4 (hopefully only) days after I do? Other people who ordered hours after us received their phones days ahead of me.
Incredible work there AT&T. You're doing a bang up job.
Never again will I be at their mercy on a preorder. Even though I'm premier, I can, and historically do, order directly through Apple. Unfortunately, I probably won't switch carriers. T-Mobile is spotty in my area, Sprint is the worst carrier I've ever dealt with, and switching to a Verizon plan would cost me too much money considering I'd be giving up my grandfathered unlimited data plan through AT&T. Sucks really. I'd love to take a stand against their shoddy fulfillment practices this launch, but not at the expense of my wallet.
Canceled my ATT order yesterday and ordered through Apple. Already have my "Preparing for Shipment" and Apple just deducted payment from my bank account. Expecting it to ship today.
At least for me, ordering through Apple has always been the best bet. Guess I just had a brain fart when ordering through ATT. Hope to have my phones this upcoming week.

Same here. I'd consider Verizon because I'm not at unlimited data on AT&T but I don't really know if Verizon can match service that I get in my area.

Ok this is BS. Shipped yesterday out of FTW, TX. Standard overnight to Nor Cal. I check this morning so I can call that fedex and have them hold it for me to come get it. The dam thing went to Memphis,TN...WTF??? That isn't overnight and why would it go farther away from me. Makes no dam sense, now I have no chance of picking it up today....Anybody else have theirs go states farther away?
Unless it's shipping from China. My moms regular 6 shipped already. Right from China
