AT&T Pre-order status iPhone 6 Plus (only)

It's been 16 days, and I'm stuck on back order for my 6+ sg 16g. I've searched like crazy online at Apple, best buy and radio shack. I've called walmarts, att stores and targets. I will accept and color in either 16 or 64g, and can't get my hands on a single phone.

I don't blame att at all. They are only getting what Apple is supplying them. In fact, I blame Apple. They're the ones that had their site crash which sent the people looking to order to att and then not supplying the phones.

Sorry, just getting impatient over here. Going on vacation soon to vegas and really wanted to bring my new phone with me and I'm starting to lose hope.

Apple is supplying ATT with exactly the amount of phones they are contracted too I'm sure. ATT not being able to keep their word on 1st come 1st served is 100% on ATT. I ordered and was emailed conformation by 12:05 PST, and have seen many of my exact model shipped out to those who ordered after.

I totally agree on the first come first serve thing being atts fault. I should call and complain, but I swear this situation is sucking the life right out of me lol

I have :) this will be my 7th time :)

But last time (oct 3013), I took my parents with me because they had never been. So it wasn't really a vacation lol

At this point I think Im just going to accept the 10/2/14-10/13/14 dates. I havnt seen too much movement from people on this site in about 4 days. Im going to Vegas too (But i go all the time) on the 16th, so hope mine gets here by then.

My mom and dad just had their 50th anniversary and their 78th and 77th birthdays respectively, but unfortunately my dad was in the hospital recovering from colon cancer surgery. He beat bladder cancer and right after that they discovered the other cancer. But he's doing well and already getting back to his routine though the bladder cancer treatments are an ongoing thing. I wish my dad would switch to Apple computers and phones. It would save my husband a lot of lost hours doing tech support. But my dad love mucking about in Windows and Android and causing chaos and wreaking havoc. He's so evil! :rolleyes:

oh wow, I hope he beats the colon cancer as well. My best friend is going through chemo for stage 3 colon cancer right now after going through radiation. It can be rough, and after this treatment, she will need to have surgery again to re-route her. Cancer sucks!
 
AT&T is a joke. I preordered a 128gb gold at 3:05 am EST. First status said shipping between 11/11 or so and 11/27. Then went down to 10/31 and now 10/2-10/11. Still hasn't shipped although people who ordered the same model as me later on in the day from AT&T have indicated on this forum that they already received theirs. Recognizing AT&T's incompetence I ordered from Apple almost 24 hours later with a shipping estimate of 3-4 weeks. Apple has already shipped their order and I have a tracking number. AT&T still has its head in the sand. Moreover, I was already able to go to an Apple Store and pick one up. The moral is never order from AT&T again and, if you still haven't received your phone, get it from Apple. AT&T should be ashamed of themselves.
 
Well, i only see 2 fedex flights coming from Memphis to Oak,CA which my phone has to be on one of them...And the first one was scheduled to leave 2 hours ago and has not left......grrrrrrr, knowing my luck the plane malfunctioned...God i hate tracking this...
 
So after getting the run around from AT&T I ended up going to Target to get my iphone 6+. I originally preordered the SG 16gb + but ended up going with the gold 64gb +. I have my phone in my hand and I will never preorder from AT&T again. This was truly a learning experience!!

Did you cancel your order or did you simply pick it up at target?

I'm in SF and haven't seen any updates to my 128gb 6+ SG yet. I'm hoping I get to at least processed by tomorrow. I stayed up late on the 11th and got the order in at 12:45am on the 12th through at&t. Stuck at 10/2 - 10/13. Seems like us 128gb 6+ people are all getting the shaft. If anyone has a similar order let me know!

I cancelled my AT&T preorder after the target mobile sales associate said she would hold a phone for me. This is my 2nd time trying to cancel. The first time the AT&T rep told me I couldn't cancel my order but I called back and spoke to another rep and she cancelled it. By the time I arrived at target my eligibility to upgrade was updated in the system.

i have seen 128 get shipped, just no rhyme or reason why others are getting theirs or how they select who gets them. I do know 50-60% of the pluses that were made had to be thrown away. that will slow production down alot...Just keep checking that 877 number, i bet you its coming in a couple days...Think about it, mine will be coming in 6 business days after launch compared to 14-21 as they predicted. Not bad for biggest pre sale to date with half of the devices being thrown away during production...Your coming very soon.

About how long was the period between when u cancelled and were eligible again? I'm hoping to do the same thing tomorrow on my lunch break.
 
Hello yall, I've been watching this thread for about a week and a half now. I ordered my 16gb SG 6+ on the 18th. I've been on backorder since that day. My "estimated" delivery dates are 11/9-11/27. The question is should I cancel my order with att and just order from Apple? 2 months or 3-4 weeks?

congrats heather! glad urs finally moved! i actually came back to check on u lolol.....and the cheater Renho......lol.....but yea u guys will love ur phone it is AWESOMEEEE..can't put it down....for anyone that hasn't received theirs yet just hang in there..u will get it a lot sooner than the estimated dates..no more att preorders for tho
