I am following you guys and Ginger too - also looking at the Nov ship dates to see if they have been moving. Seems to be some movement - so hopefully they are least getting stock. I haven't seen any silvers in a bit but have def seen the 128s.

I'm trying not to whine so much but it's haaaaaard. Lol.

Are these for AT&T? Did people stand in line and buy a bunch of them on opening day? Do you even know where these came from?

This entire thread is getting a little ridiculous and turning into a big circle-jerk about how AT&T is trying to screw you over.

Here's the things I know:
Pretty sure AT&T doesn't make the iPhone, so they don't control the amount of stock they are sent.
Pretty sure that if you are a NEXT customer, AT&T doesn't have your money yet if you don't have an iPhone in your hand. There was a pre-authorization for the TAX on your device, but that isn't actually taken out of your account until the device ships.
Pretty sure all of the planes coming out of China do not contain iPhones. Some, maybe, but all of the planes? No.

This goes on every pre-order, people en-mass are going to leave their carrier for screwing them over by not getting the phone in their hands immediately. I didn't see anywhere where there was a guarantee, did you? I see an estimated shipping date, but the key word there is estimated. Perhaps you should be a little more mad at Apple for not foreseeing how hugely popular the 6+ was going to be and adjusting manufacturing schedules to handle this. Or perhaps there is a supply chain issue.

Bottom line, sometimes crap happens and there is nothing you can do about it, so sit down, shut up, and wait your turn. It's just a phone, and you'll get it in due time.

Wow you read a lot of things into the line you quoted. Talk about "conjecture."

No one needs to "shut up" about anything, whether agreed with, disagreed with, or any variation in between.

Purely conjecture. How do you know they will ship next week?

You don't work for ATT. Do you?

If Apple would just start the preorder process a month or two before the release of their next new phone they would know just how much of each phone to produce.

I don't see them ever doing this because it would reduce the manufactured demand they are so successful at creating.

I got a call from AT&T's "Office of the President" about my 11/9-11/27 ship date yesterday. (I ordered it at a store around noon on 9/12.) They said my ship date is tied to regional warehouse availability and basically just a crapshoot. The reason some people who ordered after 9/12 already have their 6+ is purely due to having a better warehouse assignment. It seems your ship date is based on where you live in the U.S. So, not first come, first served.

That is what I am doing along with everyone else in here this is a place to vent. Not a place to have someone hold your hand. And say it will come soon. And btw my ship dates are 10/2 - 10/13

This. 1000x this.

Thank You

WOW!!! Actual information that helps inform us all why this seems so messed up. Thank you!!

Anyone ever have any luck getting their 10/2 -10/13 shipments ?

I just got my phone yesterday from my local apple store.

checked the site around 3am and Was able to place the order. Was in and out of the store in less then 5 mins and back home in 15.

ATT is nothing but a Headache and Gave me even more problems When I got home because they activated the phone on the wrong line... regardless .. I just took my old sim from my iPhone 5s and put it in the 6 plus.. BOOM all is working.

I do Wish you guys luck

I just got back from costco where I saw first iphoneplus :eek:And I touched it too it isn't going to be too big for my little granny hands like my son thought. It will be great. Of course they had none in stock but that's the first store in my area of orange county ca that had a demo. :D:D:D

Yes mine shipped this morning.

I've reached that point that I'm looking at other phones as well as another provider. The Samsung Galaxy S 5 is available with overnight shipping. The whole purpose of upgrading was to have the battery life and improved camera on an upcoming trip to WDW but it seriously looks like no chance of that happening considering my dates haven't moved a lick.

AT&T iPhone 6 Plus ordered 9/12 at 8:05 AM
128 GB / Space Gray

Website says 10/13 - 10/22

No, unfortunately, I don't.

Wow you read a lot of things into the line you quoted. Talk about "conjecture."

I haven't read into anything, just merely pointing it out. No one knows except for the logistics teams at both Apple and AT&T what the heck is going on. Getting people's hopes up only to have those hopes not met seems pointless to me.

Little hard to believe I'm outside LA and there re plenty of warehouses here.

Quiet today. Maybe it wi pick up after 3PST:confused:

I'm hopping gold and silver ship tonight for the 10/2ers

I feel like we would have already seen movement if anything was happening today. It seems like it goes quiet for days, then boom bunch of people get stuff, then quiet for days again. One BIG CRAPPY CYCLE:mad:

I get a little hung up,on these dates .why would anyone who has a preorder be shipping in November. That has never made sense , sure it may have something to do with the queue but why does someone who orders after me fall in to a queue for Oct and I have to wait till thanksgiving. And what would that have to do with warehousing. I live in one of the most populace areas of the country so. Ca and they have warehouses coming out of the cracks here. Why is my 13 order date so far behind everyone else's. Explain it to me. Now :cool:that is my bitch for the week, thank you. And yes I called the president twice. So pooh pooh! I Want my phone mailed to me. I don't plan on running all over the country looking for one and I don't care whose fault it is apples or Att. Oh that felt good(sigh)

You whine all you want too. I just let out a good one and I feel so much better.

Ellie you're amazing lol ❤️

Well there seems to be no rhyme or reason on how things get shipped out, I have a co-worker who ordered a 6+ Silver 128 Gig on the morning of the 12th, his order said the same delivery date or 11/9 - 11/24 that being said he actually got his on the 26th so who really knows when we all will get ours

As I stated in a previous post I ordered my 6+ SG 64gb on 9/12 around 11:30 AM CT in the AT&T store. I went back later that day and order my wife a 6+ Gold 64gb around 4:30 PM CT. We each had an estimated delivery date of 11/9 to 11/27. She received her phone on 10/1 shipped FedEx from Ft. Worth. I just got my confirmation number today for my phone. It's being shipped USPS Priority Mail from Memphis. According to their map it's suppose to be 2 days shipping from there to Where I live in Northwest Arkansas. Fingers crossed I receive it Saturday.

Very we'll put. I agree 100%. In my case everything ATT told me turned out to be true. Phone is shipping now within the time frame anticipated. Notice I did not say promised. ATT can't ship what they have not received.

At this point it appears phones ordered early AM of 9/12 are about to ship depending on type color and memory. What I don't get is why people are on here complaining about orders no where near anticipated ship date, late October and into November. Come back when you are several days into your anticipated ship window!

Apple can't build them fast enough. And Foxconn can't find enough additional Chinese to hire, and they are in China. Not even bend gate, hair gate, or any other gates seem to be able to slow this juggernaut. It's gonna take a while to satisfy demand, be patient.
