AT&T Pre-order status iPhone 6 Plus (only)

When my phone paid off I will continue with my same plan unless I wantvanothe phone and at my age that is irrelevant. The phone is mine. It sounds like you have a good plan. I would keep it. I will probably take my 5 and iPad to apple and get the recyclable credit. I could take to att as well but I thought I would use my apple credit for a new case and apple care.

The new case and Apple care sounds like a GREAT idea! Thought I would try and use it to pay down the phone but I like your idea better!

BTW, ordered a 6+ 64 Silver on 9-26, 11/5-11/15 exp. ship dates. At this point who the heck knows. These order dates and ship dates are all over the freaking place and make no sense. All I can say is if I had ordered on 9-12 and still have not received my phone, I'd be beyond mad to the point of making people who had nothing to do with it feel bad.

In addition to the 12s I know several of us who ordered on the 13th who got the 11/9-11/27 delivery date. I have a hard time figuring that out. Why would anyone ordering that early get such a late delivery date.

Yet, we're not seeing any movement recently and also almost all apple stores are out of the 6+...
Do I have to sacrifice a virgin to get my 6+?!!

Csrs are really dumb fu:&$, and no i did not just relize this! Me the web site says 28-35 days, why am i 60-80 or what ever, well sir you ordered back on the 12! Back then the web site said the same 28-35, sooooo wtf!!!! All they can say is ugh ugh ugh!!! Are they robots? Good god! Apparently I misunderstood what pre-order meant. I thought pre-order meant that I would get a phone before those that didn't pre-order. How stupid of me.

I have been reading your posts since mid September, and i felt like i have to join you guys because it feels really bad how AT&T is handling the shipping in an upsetting order.

I ordered IN STORE 09/13
iPhone 6 Plus Gold 128GB
Shipping Dates: 11/09/14 - 11/27/14 (Preparing to Ship)
877 number: backordered.
Have not seen a change since day 1.

When i ordered it in store, i did not know how bad the waiting times are gonna be. I joked to the staff telling them I'll expect my phone to be in my hands next year. Unfortunately, that joke is too close to the truth.

Well, I've been watching this thread for awhile, hoping to see some movement. No such luck! I remain baffled at the order date and the shipping date, as does everyone else on this site.

Ordered online 6+ Gold 64GB on 10/7
Ship date 11/14 - 11/25

I check my order every day, not to see if it has shipped, but to see how far back they will push the ship date. It's obviously back ordered, but still has the same ship date.

Here's a thought, tell me if I'm way off.
When I bought my 5s last year I went with the next program, because I wanted the 6+ when it came out. I'm anxious to get my 6+ because I don't want to pay another installment payment. Now, when my 6+ comes in and I return the 5s, the remaining balance on the 5s is forgiven, so you won't pay full price for the phone. Now my thought, I think At&T will hold out the longest in sending out phones to the people who are enrolled in the next program, because it's money in their pocket and less in ours. Food for thought!

I am. I have a forgiven balance but as long as I have the phone I get to keep paying for it.

good deductive reasoning but i am not on next plan of any kind. and i ordered the 12th and i am still on back order, and my ship dates have not changed yet. lol

I have the next plan but just signed up for it with this phone. The only change for me is I am paying less for my data plan. I won't make payments on my phone until it is activated.

No Next plan for me. I rarely trade in a phone in less than 3 years and I would end up paying quite a bit more in the long run than just buying it outright. It's similar to leasing a car.

On another note, I wonder what the odds are that at today's conference, Tim Cook will make a 'formal apology' to those of us who pre-ordered prior to launch who still haven't gotten our phones yet....

Considering this will be my first iphone, Apple is not off to a good start with me. I'm converting from android.
