Spoke to an AT&T rep that said the shipping dates would be updated when the item is released. The projected dates are issued by their system in the even of delays. So pretty much they provide false information to cover their a$$. I love how I ordered the exact same phone through Verizon as well and it has already shipped and waiting locally for Friday delivery.

AT&T Pre-order status iPhone 6 Plus (only)

I ordered a 6/64gb/gold(wife's) and 6+/64gb/sg(mine) within 10-15 after "official" launch time on AT&T (about 3:10am). Didn't get confirmation emails until about 4:30am est. wife's has always said 9/17-18. I got the 14-21 days and started with 10/13-22, this changed to 10/2-13 during the weekend. Got my wife's tracking today but my 6+ Still shows preparing to ship. I say all that to say this (haha), my wife's tracking shows it started on 9/13 and when I check her upgrade status it says she will be eligible on 4/13/16. When I check mine, I also show 4/13/16. Any chance this means something? Hoping mine just hasn't updated yet.

I just noticed that my upgrade status is now showing I'll be eligible on 4/13/16. Like you, I hope this is a positive sign.
Just got a confirmation that my iphone 6 Plus, 64GB, Gold -- ordered from ATT site at 2:55AMEST - is SHIPPED. Got a FedEx tracking number.
I also ordered around that time CST IPhone 6 Plus - 64GB and it was a very easy and quick experience and received two confirmation emails within minutes and I have been stuck in Preparing to ship between 10/2 - 19/13 ever since!
I am beginning to think that those of us who ordered as soon as the ATT site went live got pushed back by some type of system error 🙁
But let's take a breather and be calm and maybe it will still come on time
Not yet. Got my order in at 3:05 Eastern and still in "preparing to ship" status. I have always had the October 2-13 time frame.

Got in at the same time butttttttt my original date was 10/13-10/22, it changed to 10/2-10/13 last night.
I ordered a 64GB Silver 6+ through AT&T's site at 2:45 CST on 9/12. I was only one year into my normal contract (5s) so I used the Next "upgrade" to get a new phone early.
Original Ship Date: 10/13 - 10/22
New Ship Date (switched a few days ago): 10/2 - 10/13
As of about an hour ago, the phone now shows as shipped with a delivery date of 9/19. Got a FedEx tracking number and everything.

anyone living in Texas get their 6+ shipped yet? It seems like all the Fedex notices show shipped from Texas, wondering if because I live in state that mine might be waiting until tonight or tomorrow as they have more wiggle room for a shorter shipping time to still get it Friday

That is the same phone I ordered!!! When did the status change? I placed my order at 2:01 CST with an email confirmation at 2:04 CST. I am in Texas...so hopefully I see something change tonight or tomorrow!!! I can hardly wait!!

Confirmation received on 9/11 at 11:54 pm for iPhone 6+ 64GB Silver.
Order status received on 9/12 at 1:50 am showing shipping date 10-2/10-13.
Received text message that order had been sent to warehouse for shipping.
Shipping date has stayed the same except for a while on Saturday it said backordered but shortly after went back to 10-2/10-13.
This morning I have this! I had just about given up hope of getting it Friday. Have faith everyone!🙂

Ordered gray 64GB 6+ at 1:59am CST. My shipping date has always said 10/02/14 - 10/13/14.
If they're shipping from Tx it should get here in a day with 2-day shipping.
