My update status also shows 9/12/16 even though Order Status still says Preparing to Ship, 10-2-10/13. Hopefully that update status is the good news...

I'm starting to lose faith. I'm in the 10/02/14 - 10/13/14* group that was switched from the 10/13 - 10/22 group last night.
Fingers are crossed but I'm having my doubts. Keep checking the order status every 15 minutes throughout the day so far. Praying to see a shipped status.

Looks like space grey iPhones are going to be the last ones shipped out..
Beginning to lose faith in an update on the 16 GB Space Grey... looks like most people ordered the 64 GB, and that's the one that's getting shipped out.
I suppose I should get back to my real job and stop refreshing these pages like I'm get a nickel each time I do!
Congrats to those who have their 64 GB (and apparently one sketchy 128 GB) on the way! Wish the rest of us luck
And for goodness sake, please stop peppering posts with the iPhone 6 that you ordered for your wife or husband, partner or whatever... I don't think we really care to compare because they're evidently different from the 6+. Please keep it on the 6+!!
Not me man, ordered the 64gb Space Gray 6 minutes after release and I am still in the same boat as I was; 10/2-10/13. I am only checking a few times a day now, since I have come to realization that I am not getting mine on Friday. Good luck.
Possibly, as I have ordered phones from AT&T before that were shipped from Fort Worth, TX and were delivered by USPS.
LOL... I would be pissed too if I got a message from AT&T and turned out to be a message like that.

New to forum. Been lurking since last week.
Ordered through AT&T using Next. Got in online before midnight.
Confirmation received on 9/11 at 11:54 pm for iPhone 6+ 64GB Silver.
Order status received on 9/12 at 1:50 am showing shipping date 10-2/10-13.
Received text message that order had been sent to warehouse for shipping.
Shipping date has stayed the same except for a while on Saturday it said backordered but shortly after went back to 10-2/10-13.
This morning I have this! I had just about given up hope of getting it Friday. Have faith everyone!

Guys don't worry, if you have seen the spreadsheet that is on here so many SG 6+ have already shipped.. I got SG and I am pretty sure it is coming on Friday..I think it depends on were u live. West coast will be the last ones to see shipping status or will just get it on Friday without any shipping status change or tracking number.... We will get it!
I think 16GBs are also being left out. The majority that I've seen have been 64GB. I wish they would just make the same amount of all of them

As far as I can tell SG 6+ orders may not have started updating yet. I checked mine (Orderd at 3:31AM EST) and a co-worker's order (3:05AM EST). We're both still in the 10/2 to 10/13 limbo.

Mine still says 10/2-10/13 this sucks i always order with apple but got true with att before the 3:00am preoreder. so i went with them.

I'm getting an error message when I check my order status online. It says: "E0019: We were unable to find your order. If you have recently made a purchase, please verify your order confirmation number or search using your wireless number. You may also check your order status by dialing 877.782.8870." Up until yesterday when I looked up my order it said it was being processed. My credit card still has a hold for the price of the phone plus tax and when I call that number it says my order has been processed. What gives? Why is my order non-existent when I look it up online but it says its been processed when I call? AT&T is the worst.
Any insight?
Okay so I pre-ordered through AT&T between 3:30-4:00 AM EST. I ordered the 6plus 64GB in Silver. I have had a 10/13-10/22 since the beginning. No changes or bumps whatsoever. However, my confirmation wasn't received until 7:00AM (EST) the 12th even though I ordered around 3:30-4.
I have tried myUPS and fed ex, yet nothing on deliveries(using my phone number as a reference). On the order status on AT&T's page under tracking it says preparing shipment. I can't for the life of me remember if it said that, or if it was just blank. I want to say blank, but not entirely sure.
If you can't tell, I'm located in Ohio... so idk when I would/should receive a tracking number.
What is the likelihood of me getting it launch? I will be pretty upset staying up until after 4 AM for nothing.
edit: It also shows I'm not eligible for an upgrade, but no date listed or anything.

Is it just me or did the updating posts dramatically stop? Makes me think a plethora of people are now receiving "shipped" statuses and leaving the forums.

I'm in the same boat, ID is 1016 as well, I ordered the 6+ 128gb a few minutes before the website went fully live and got out of there within 5 minutes, had to be less. Still shows on my att account Preparing to Ship. Probably going to have to wait till October, sadly.
In the same boat as you my man. Only difference is that I ordered space grey and am in NY...tough pill to swallow watching everyone else get their status updated to shipped and get their tracking numbers...oh well.
