Guess what? I got my email from the lady that called me from the Executive Office (after emailing the CEO) with a tracking number. My phone has shipped today and will be here on Tuesday. *fingers crossed* Had no idea FedEx picked up on Sunday. I hope I'm not dreaming. I am the last of the Launch Day September 12th customers! Finally!

Maybe I should start emailing AT&T about my order... except my shipping range haven't ended yet... I still don't know which order number to believe as when I call in 877# I have 2 "active order", one being back ordered and other being processed since 9/26...

When did you order yours though and when is your ship date? I ordered mine on launch day, September 12th and my ESD was December 23d after my order was cancelled and reprocessed. I have had issues so the December ship date was ridiculous. If you never had a problem and are just waiting for your shipment, I would hold on until it passes or in range to take action. You want to make sure you can justify your complaint.

My confusion is with the order numbers as one order number says backordered, the other says being processed since 9/26.

The 2 order number begins with... (9 digit order number and 14 digit order number)

This 6 Plus fiasco is exactly the kind of waiting I hate.

If I know that I have exactly 2 weeks to wait, I could easily deal with it. The problem is AT&T's shipping times are BS. Going off this thread, it seems just as likely that my phone will ship early as shipping late.

I wish the guy at the AT&T store did not lie to me about the shipping times. He told me 3-4 weeks, not 5-6. Otherwise, I would've ordered through Apple.

I'm already 3 weeks in. Still contemplating on canceling and going to the Apple Store and just getting a Silver. I'm so hesitate because I know it won't go smoothly like everyone else, like some BS detail that will randomly pop up that prevents me from ordering through Apple, or the bus/trains breaks down and the phones are sold out by the time I get there. Argh.

Haven't really called AT&T ever since I ordered on 9/26 through retention...

I just did an online chat a few minutes ago and that was useless as they don't have "access" to my order...

I'm so happy you're finally getting your phone. I think I'll be here until December. Oh well. Tomorrow I'm going to call the guy that said my phone would ship Friday and scream at him. Haha

Ginger as I said a week ago... you should have news by this Tuesday or Wednesday, lets see how good I am at predicting.
I can tell you I got mine last Wednesday after ordering on 9/15 (evening) and it is worth the wait. Word of advise as soon as you get it go to you local mall and put a ghost armor on it (all around).
I'll will hang around here until I see you get your phone...:):D

Well... Called AT&T just now and the rep said to follow the 9071 order number and told me the phone should ship within the next 5 days.. Though I doubt... She seems to be just reading off the info that I can see already myself about the shipping date range... No actual answer on when it will ship or what's the hold up...
 
I kicked att's ass today.:cool:
I went to a corporate store(not retail) and got my eligibility reinstated.

I drove to Apple Carlsbad and got my gold 64+ no problems, husband got his silver 64+ no problems.

Anyone in the San Diego area that runs across this issue of canceling an order and unable to reverse your upgrade, go to the ATT in Santee and ask for the manager Paul.

I want to give Paul his props for fixing something in 5 minutes that 10 supervisors and an escalation team could not fix, he changed the last number of the IMEI number on both phones and JOILA! Upgrade became available. No biggie with old phones beacuse I am just selling them back to gazelle.

This bullshizz had me twisted.

I have to echo what others have said about this phone AMAZING

once you have it in your hand it feels like your old phone is a flip phone from the '80s. Maybe, just a better beeper;)

This new phone is some shizz cooked up on Mars. Some Martian crack.

I'm going through the same thing now. Got tired of waiting for Mr Edmond and did a chat with "Edwinelle Luna", who said that eligibility on 1st cancelled order should have been reinstated automatically, without the need of using the upgrade of my other line to reorder for expedited shipping. Shows how much Mr. Edmond knows...and he's from President's office!! She had her manager help and said they were having technical difficulties and would need to get backoffice caseworker involved. Then said it normally takes 5-7 bus days, but would make mine an "urgent case" and do it in 2-3 bus days. I got a case number and should expect an emailed resolution on 11/12.

Can you specify exactly what he changed the IMEI number to? Was the last digit changed to just any number or a specific number?
I thought the IMEI was unchangeable....kinda like your SSN.
I'm definitely intrigued....this is interesting.

I just ordered two covers off of Amazon to hold me over until Lifeproof comes out with theirs for the 6 plus. I definitely recommend a cover. I've never left the house without one. Scary thought, especially since I travel for a living and my phones go thru a lot of wear and tear and drops. Lifeproof is the best case hands down for me. I've tried the others.

Yes, but that's what they tell everyone AKA script. After speaking to a supervisor he told me if it doesn't change immediately expect there to be a problem, and there was.

I whispered to people in the ATT store that phones were in stock at Apple. When the clerk heard me he told the customers they were better off ordering because of the demand... What aDick

I was in a ATT store last weekend and a couple were ordering a phone and were told about 2 weeks. Unbelievable. Maybe they were ordering a 16 gb
 
Not to creep or anything, but where in Missouri??? Some At&t stores have them, but sales reps are to lazy to look (and they don't bother to update their online stock".

went to trade my 5S in on Friday and the man came Ron the back and whispered "Ok we do have 6 plus's in stock"... This is after I watched him help 6 people order the exact same phone (I was in AT&T for 2 hours ##)

Maaaaaannnnn!!! I will be pissed off if this usual "no 6 plus in stock" story is some convenient game AT&T is playing to be one of the few retail stores fully stocked for the Holidays!!!####

I was being nosey about how he fixed the upgrade issue since 10 supervisors and an escalation team could not fix it.

All he said was he changed the last number to something random on my phone and changed my husband's to a complete number similar to mine (i did not have his phone on me nor did I know his IMEI number)

It was a few screens on the iPad he was using and DONE.

You must go to a CORPORATE ATT store not a retail outlet and ask for a manager to reverse your upgrade.

If he has trouble, mention the IMEI idea. GOOD LUCK;)

I've got two cases when the phone actually gets here I'm going to get a screen protector and another case I've been eying. Not till the damn thing gets here though.
 
Well only 2 days left in my 10/31-11/11 window... Both phones are 64gb.... Looks like so far only the 128gb got the delay emails, so still hoping they will ship tomorrow or Tuesday... If not I will be switching carriers at weeks end if not. I refuse to stick with a carrier that will lie to customers... You issue a shipping window and should keep it.... Most shipping windows are 6+ weeks from order date anyway

It's so comical how I get three different statuses on the three different order checking pages, and then yet a different one again on the 877 number. Whatever. I'm convinced I'll see mine ship this week for some reason.

Mine is supposed to be here on the 11th as well. Just checked and FedEx does deliver on veteran's day!
