Got an email today from ATT telling me that my order which was placed on 9/12 and canceled by them on 10/23 had been canceled and wanted to know if I would like to reorder. For s--- and giggles I called the 800 number that was included in the email. The CSR confirmed that my order was canceled and he asked me if I wanted to reorder. It felt so good to be able to say nope I already got the phone from Apple.

I ordered (online) a gold 128 6+ on 11/4 and got a shipping window of 12/15 - 12/24. On Saturday 11/22 I got a tracking number with an estimated delivery of 11/28. I'm upgrading my AT&T next line.

No clue how they're determining 'order'.

So if you ordered online or through the store anytime in September you are screwed and forgotten after they took our money. And they wonder why we want to leave.

So will they have a boatload of SG 128+ in the stores for Black Friday Sales?

We are all thinking that they are hoarding them for in store sales, instead of sending them to those of us that ordered over 2 months ago. If they happen to have any left, they might consider sending a few out, but I wouldn't hold my breath.

I just spoke to a friend and he went to Best Buy this Sunday and able to pick up a SG+ 64 with no problems.

That explains it. It is quite apparent that AT&T is giving priority to those who ordered from a store as opposed to the web. I ordered the exact same phone 4 days before you, on 9/23 via the web, and my new ship dates are 12/12 - 12/19, one week after yours.

It's weird that my email stated that they have the phone in stock, but it's going to take 3 weeks to get it shipped?!?! Really??

BULLOCKS! (sp?) So, I believe I am just a regular (not premier) business customer - (US NAVY). I ordered on 9/20 at a corporate store, but I am in Hawaii, so it could be more region specific. As you can guess, I also got the 12/12-12/19 new dates, so I'm guessing it's region specific...

But, today there's one in Royal Hawaiian (or a few). Good luck all!

And only 1 hour after opening, the Royal Hawaiian has been labeled as out of stock. I just don't get why they aren't willing to reserve a phone... I've heard of others here getting a phone reserved, which is why I asked to talk to an in-store rep, but we couldn't get through.

It's "bollocks" ;)

I cancelled my AT&T order and ordered 2 iPhones from Apple on 11.21. They're BOTH due to be delivered 12.10.
6+ SG/64 and a 6 Si/64

Signed up with another carrier too. AT$T can go do whatever....

Which carrier, if you don't mind? AT&T has been pretty good, other than this debacle. But, from what I understand, only Verizon holds a candle to the coverage offered by AT&T. T-Mobile and Sprint just don't have the coverage or speed to compete with the big boys, and if they have one, they certainly don't have the other- the only reason to go with either one is for the cheap price (and if you don't plan to travel). At least in my opinion.

Not shooting the messenger here, but you've got to be effing kidding me. Someone orders in November and they'll get the phone in less than a month, meanwhile I ordered September 22, and I'm STILL waiting, with absolutely no end in sight?

I wish I could say I was surprised, but with AT&T, nothing surprises me. The only thing that would surprise me is actually getting my phone before the iPhone 6s launches. I'm not kidding.

And, I've gotten confirmation that AT&T is screwing us, well at least me, over. Chatted with an online agent about ordering a phone for a new line for my wife just wanted to see what they'd say.

I asked "Before I go into a store, do you have them in stock". Not in stock at store she tells me, but do have them online, I reconfirmed what I was asking... She reiterates, they have them. Until I state what I'm doing, then "umm, err, well"....

They choose not to fulfill Premier/existing account orders. Or they just lie to everyone and say they have them instead of setting realistic expectations.

That is why I canceled my order with ATT. Worthless customer service.

I went with T-Mobile. Less money per month does matter for me. Coverage is equal or better for the area here. I don't travel, so that isn't a problem for me.
I do like AT&T service coverage, but they suck as at customer care. I hope you find a plan that works.

Boy I would love for AT&T to explain that. I know the media would eat that up. I bet AT&T would start shipping phone fast after you chat was put on the news.

Called the Apple store Royal Hawaiian... And only 1 hour after opening, the Royal Hawaiian has been labeled as out of stock. I just don't get why they aren't willing to reserve a phone... I've heard of others here getting a phone reserved, which is why I asked to talk to an in-store rep, but we couldn't get through.

As you all know, I really need the phone reserved because there's no point in getting the original order through AT&T cancelled unless I'm willing to wait the 3-4 weeks for their shipping. I understand that it is very reliable, but for the sake of all still here, I am continuing my wait.

I just can't wait for too long, so as long as I have assurances of getting a phone when I get there, I am willing to cancel. I know that the new shipping dates are not reliable, but it could be sooner or after the dates. So, currently, I'm sticking it out.

But my iPhone 4S is really wanting to retire - besides randomly not showing what the cell reception is (although it will tell me that it gets 4G), and the battery dying ridiculously quickly - it showed me a new way yesterday. While it was plugged in, it was fine. Then I unplugged it, and the screen went black. I tried turning it on with the buttons - nothing. Then I plugged it back in - it started up. Unplugged, same thing. I finally gave up, unplugged it and it did start up on its own. Plugged it in a different outlet/cord, and its been working well since... But it's a foreboding foretelling of things to come; and a desperate reason to get my phone upgraded...

Shipped

I ordered the 6 plus. Space grey. 64 GB on November 1st from att.com with next. I checked today and it said its shipped and will be here Friday. I originally got 2 day shipping cause it was free but it's thanksgiving so Friday will do. My original ship dates were 12/11 to 12/22. So maybe I'm just lucky or att is finally getting caught up. Good luck to anyone still waiting. I was planning on canceling with att today too because Ive read that Apple is getting the phones out in less than 20 days. Good luck.

I picked up a 6+ SG 128GB at the Apple Store here in Tampa last Tuesday (11/18).

Original order date thru AT&T (Next Plan) = 09/22
Original delivery window 10/30 to 11/10
Placed on back order status on 11/11

I used iStockNow. I received an email from iStockNow on Tuesday morning stating that the 6+ SG 128GB was in stock at the Tampa Apple Store. I went up there a verified they had it in stock. I called AT&T to cancel my order and reset eligibility for upgrade and Next Plan. They canceled the order and then told me that it would take 24 hours for the eligibility to reinstate. I spoke to a supervisor and they reset it instantly.

I then went forward with 6+ in the Apple Store. Initially they said that I could not pick up the phone in their current stock thru the Next Plan but could order it there and pick it up in a couple of weeks. I explained my situation and the clerk spoke to supervisor and came back and set me up with the phone they had in stock on a Next Plan.

Thank you to everyone on the forum. Hearing about how others have handled this situation gave me the extra incentive to take action into my hands versus sit and wait for AT&T. I encourage everyone to go thru Apple.

If you can Apple is the way to go! It's what I done

I originally ordered 2 128 GB SG 6+'s on 9/20 with ESD of 10/29-11/07.

I was dealing with rude CSRs and even an idiotic appeals department. Several emails to the CEO and chats online. I gave up and cancelled one phone.

Ordered a 128 GB Gold 6+ through Apple 13 days ago. I was told to be expecting shipment between 2-3 weeks. Looking forward to that. The other AT&T phone? Who the hell knows. My brother is being stubborn and waiting them out.

Shipping Estimate Change

Just got an email saying that my order would arrive between 12/12-12/19. I ordered an iPhone 6+ SG 128 GB on 9/19 with shipping dates 11/9-11/27. I am flipping out.

Use iStocknow.com to track inventory at your local Apple Store. When one comes in go confirm its in inventory at the store. Then cancel your AT&T order by phone while in the store and pick up the phone there.

Apple appears to be filling stock faster than AT&T.

I don't live close to any Apple Stores. I would have to fly to Florida to get to one. :(

Ordered a 128mb 6+ today from Apple (AT&T carrier) and got a 12/19 date...and they already shipped the extra cable I ordered!

MB?? wow, I didn't know they sent it that low.:p

BTW, still waiting since 9/20 - I just can't get out of work to pick up a phone! I've seen it several times in the local Apple Stores, but I never get there in time!

Also, I checked out several other Carriers, and they appear to have the same dates of 12/12/14.... Is APPLE doing a Black Friday big sale? And therefore THEY don't want to give up the rest of their stock until 12/12????!?:(
