AT&T Pre-order status iPhone 6 Plus (only)

BTW, still waiting since 9/20 - I just can't get out of work to pick up a phone! I've seen it several times in the local Apple Stores, but I never get there in time!

Also, I checked out several other Carriers, and they appear to have the same dates of 12/12/14.... Is APPLE doing a Black Friday big sale? And therefore THEY don't want to give up the rest of their stock until 12/12????!?:(

My 9/19 order for the 6+ 128GB SG also got changed to 12/19. I was pretty angry and called customer service about it, they said their warehouses are empty and there is nothing they can do about it but wait.

I was almost about to cancel the order and get the Note 4, but since I'm already using the Note 3, the Note 4 just wasn't a big enough of an upgrade to me, so I'll just wait this out and hopefully I'll get my iphone before Christmas. Also I can't go to Apple store to get the iphone because this deal is through retentions since they are letting me renew a year early.

So my range of 11/9-11/27 came and went.

On 11/25 i squawked that there was no way they'd be shipping on Turkey day.

I mean... the way its set up... at the end of your timeframe all the stores are then sold out for black friday.... its a lose lose for the consumer.

well i groaned and they gave me a 25 dollar credit and assured me it would ship in the range they gave.

11/28 came and i talked to someone and referenced the ticket number given. still no phone. so i cancelled. My local store for first time ever had BOTH the 6 plus sg in 64 and 128 gb. I was hoping i'd get one so i cancelled order online with att. I begged him to do it right away. He said it could take some time, but to look for my email confirmation. once email came to confirm...i'd be good to go.

10 minutes later i get the email!!! So i call apple store. they have both still. But they won't let me reserve because i have next. they won't tell me how many they have. they won't tell me anything. just make the hour drive and hope!

I get there in 40 minutes. They have the 128gb in stock!. We try to process order and it won't go through. ATT cancelled order alright... but they didn't reset my eligibility like they are supposed to. SO PLEASE... don't forget that step. Make sure the canceller does both!!!! 30 minutes later on phone with att and they took care of it. Actually not bad for black friday. but still....

Long story short. I walked out of apple store an hour after arriving with the 128gb space gray 6 plus. 2 hours later i checked istocknow and they are gone again.

What a stressful experience. Good luck everyone! Order from apple next time. (and next program is a hassle cuz it doesn't fit into normal categories)
 
I was just a little curious to know if any of the mid September orders had finally shipped. Apparently not.

I cancelled mine on 11.21 and ordered through Apple. Both iPhones are shipped as of this morning. Delivery 12.8.

Ordered on 9/12 ATT cancelled my order for me on 10/24. Issue with compromised CC. Got one at Apple on 10/24. Got an email 11/25 wanting to know if I wanted to reorder
 
Walked into my local target store and they have a stockpile of all 128gb plus iPhones. Cancelled my order from 9/22, the ATT customer rep reinstated my next eligibility with no problem and walked out with my SG 128 plus in less than 20 minutes. NEVER again going ordering a phone through ATT. Hope everyone else gets their phones soon l. Happy holidays!
 
Placed my order Sept 27 for Gold 128 6 Plus.

Last shipping window date 11/14 received an email saying I wouldn't recieve my phone until Dec 19.

Cancelled that order and went to the Fifth Ave Apple Store.

I finally have my 6 Plus :)

Needless to say I won't order from AT&T again. Learned a lesson.
 
Chat Robots?

So I went online and logged in and then started a chat session, this idiot proceeded to tell me that all was well, no issues with my order and that I could disregard the email. HAH! I just took screen shots and closed the window.

I did a chat with an online AT&T representative yesterday. All I wanted to know is how much more on my AT&T bill it would cost me to add my daughter (going from two phones to three). The chat guy couldn't figure it out and said goodbye in the middle.

I think their chat agents are robots - artificial intelligence. Just the kind of magic AT&T is known for. I almost asked the chat guy "how much is nine plus 3 - seven." No way a robot could figure that out!
 
Cancel That Order and Take the Black Friday Deal

Let's assume your 8 week old order is wedged in the system. Just cancel it and start over.

Black Friday weekend. Think about it (this is the devil speaking to you now). AT&T is pushing the Next program pretty hard. They have a $100 credit going on for new phone purchases for an additional line (online only, 3 monthly installments). Cancel your order and go buy a factory refurbished unit they are offering online! You could save up to $13 a month on your Next plan phone. The deals are over Monday night.

Hang in there your phone should be coming soon. If anyone should have it is you from all you're been through. I ordered from AT&T on 9/27 and still waiting only because of $200 credit for my old phone. That has kept me from canceling my order. Original shipment 11/5-11/14 was changed to 12/5-12/15.

Verizon and tmobile and sprint aren't getting the 128 gb phones either

so stop with the conspiracies.

One thing the apple guy told me.... It takes time to
"lock" the phones to a particular carrier. So logistically they get 500 phones... but if shipment comes over holidays... not gonna get them locked until after that holiday. that's part of issue. whereas at apple store, its done in house so done quickly.

Like anything else.... follow the money. Apple makes more money selling the phone themselves than selling at a discount to the distributor rate they pay to the carriers or retailers. What would you do if you were in apple's shoes? Sell millions of phones at full price at your OWN retail outlet, or sell at a discounted distributor rate to your distributors that also sell your competitions phones? No brainer. Don't expect to get your phones until the market is saturated with it. It just doesn't behoove apple to be motivated otherwise.

I understand and agree with what you are saying but to order a phone and have to wait 3 months is a little extreme. When someone orders the same phone and get it in 3 weeks or a month. This just is not a good business practice. Is this how you would run a business.

Hope you get your phone soon! Target was a blessing for me, walked in yesterday evening, cancelled my order from September 22nd through Att next and got me my 128gb SG 6+ in 20 mins. The nice employee even gave me a 50 dollar gift card. Couldn't be any happier!

Well, with no changes in the Drag:mad:n Lady's message and my "Estimated ship date" range passed, my AT$T web wireless order status is now "Back-ordered" instead of "Preparing to Ship" with no "Estimated ship date".

6+ SG 128GB ordered 2014-09-19, original Estimated ship date: 2014-11-09 to 2014-11-27. :(

maybe you can just cancel and go to your local Apple store. that's the fastest way. can't believe you've been waiting for over 2 months now. something is not right..... that's why i never order thru ATT. all i do is just wait and checked apple store inventory and buy from them.
 
At this point I will most likely be filing for social security by the time this phone gets here.

Yup. I probably would if the situation was different. I am part of a Premier corporate customer account managed by someone else.

I was feeling needy last week and asked my contact for an update and confirmed--I don't have the option of ordering through Apple.

The good news is that, by being patient, I'm saving $400-500 on the phone. (Not sure on the last $100 yet--fingers crossed.) And sure not in a position to go pay the full upgrade amount.

Even $100 is a low outlay for that much phone. So, cultivating my patience and trying not to whine too much. ;)

I'm thinking sometime this week I should get a shipping notification. It's been 2 weeks and 4 days. I think I saw someone say their card was charged by Apple at 2 weeks and 5 days and right after it shipped. Hoping its the same for me. My phone right now is literally fried. To use it I keep having to reset it. Pissing me off.
 
I have been waiting patiently since 9-23 for my SG 128+, and now have a delivery date of 12-12 - 12-19. Original was 10-31 - 11-11. I am stuck since I am using Next, a Premier customer, and using a shared upgrade with another line, so cannot just go to an Apple store. While I have heard they can do Next, I didn't think they could do the shared upgrade. I know an AT&T store can do it all, but none in my area (south Texas) has ever had an SG 128+ in stock.

I guess my biggest gripe is the email I received with the new shipping dates that stated they now have the stock on hand to fulfill my order. If so, then why will it take 3 - 4 weeks to send out, when their website says that orders will leave the warehouse in either 2 days or 4 days depending on type of shipping?!?!? The chat people and the phone people have no answer, so are useless.

This will definitely be the last order through AT&T for anything, and I will be sending a very nicely worded email to that effect to the corporate office. :mad:

I am still saying lots of prayers for you! Fingers crossed! I don't blame you I would be pissed off too! Mine was doing the same towards the end. I couldn't even make a phone call without it dying, but then again it was a 3gs so yeah haha.
