Should the public sue AT&T for failing to deliver quality service to people in NYC?

Here's the best part, though: AT&T's "Mark the Spot" app doesn't work on OS 4 Beta 4. It crashes upon launch.

I hope they update this App before version 4.0 goes live, otherwise there is no point to downloading it.

none of AT&T's other devices experience dropped calls like the iPhone in NY or SF

I think this is because the iPhone is often compared to a Blackberry that runs on AT&T's Edge service, not 3G, and therefore coverage is much better.

Turn off 3G, New Yorkers! It sucks but we have to deal with it until iPhone for Verizon makes it's way out, whether it be this year or in 2012.

Both BlackBerry Bolds (9000, 9700) use 3G too, though I dont know how they perform on AT&t's network. AT&T service where I am was/is excellent for my iPhone, I almost always have full signal (3G) and its really speedy (1.75-2.5Mbps now, when I first got it it was around 1 Mbps). I've rarely had dropped calls save for one day and they were admittedly working on the towers in my area (12+ dropped calls that day) but other than that day I've dropped maybe 1 or 2 in a year/year and a half or so.

I also have a BlackBerry Tour (from work) but thats on a completely different network, though I've yet to drop a call haha :p

now why???

and they could have given him a great solution to fix his problem and he could have rewrote the whole email to trick us.

why would I do that. this is 100% legitimate, authentic copy and paste straight from AT&T's email.

I don't play like that my friends, I have better things to do than deceive my fellow MacRumors readers.
