AT&T throttled 3G vs EDGE speed question

Just wondering why does it matter?

I would assume they wouldn't throttle edge.... Of course I really have no clue but if yours is that slow what would be the point?

Did you also really just join to ask that question? Maybe calling AT&T and asking them would be a better option as you are most likely going to receive several different and not accurate answers here.

Att throttling

I listen to a lot of old time radio. I was pretty upset when I was told I was going to be throttled. A person from Att told me I would still be able to stream after being throttled. So far I'm at 3292.7 MB of unlimited and still able to stream my stories. Was the person pulling my leg or what???

It's based on region and how much traffic is in your area at a given time.

Ex. I often go over my 3GB cap but have only received the dreaded text a few times. Out of those few times I've only noticed being throttled once. And by noticed, I mean anything web related never loaded. It was so slow that it affected how I used my iPhone.
