My billing statement is still pending and I asked the rep if she can credit me $36 to cancel out my balance she said that she can only credit the actual charge. I guess I have to pay for my balance first and contact them again to waive it.
How are you guys doing this? I am planning on going to Apple tomorrow to pick up an iPhone 5. Should I just go to AT&T online chat and talk to them about waiving the upgrade fee?
I just sent an email to them, so let's see what happens. If it doesn't work I'll give them a call on Monday.

Just received a reply back from AT&T and they said they couldn't credit unbilled charges. Okay I can understand that point. I'm assuming after 3 days the charges will show.
Curious how everyone is able to get these credits when we all just activated our phones yesterday. I'm assuming it doesn't show up on their bill yet either? I guess calling in is better.
I did this last time. Just emailed and told them I was looking seriously at returning the phone and going with a different iphone carrier, and they refunded it. They said it was one time, but we both know better...
