I still have that expected delivery I'm just being hopeful that it may get bumped up ;-)

This is EXCELLENT news for those of us who were late to the party and got October delivery dates. Maybe - just maybe - the date estimates were ultra conservative and can be bumped UP.

Have any of you guys received anything for terms and conditions with ATT? I was told we have to do that before our order ships

I had to accept the terms and conditions on the order page before I clicked accept. I believe there was three check boxes. I'm not sure I will receive anything else from them.

Rambo I ordered at 3:05 and still have a October order date. I was told by a att customer service rep that the dates are off due to the number of orders and that is would correct. I did receive 2 texts saying that my order was processed.

Chris I thought I did too when I ordered through Premier but the rep said that I still had to accept again.

I think AT&T is trolling with these dates. Severely under promising and trying to make delivery date of 9/19. I remembered when I preordered my GS4 they gave me some ****** date range 2-3 weeks out then it updated 2-3 days before it arrived on launch day. Obviously not gonna be the case for everyone, but if I don't see a shipped for 9/19 by Wednesday-Thursday I'll cancel and try my luck else where.

I'm thinking some of us that ordered early enough will be getting them on launch day. The dates from ATNT are just place holders that they use by default.

Maybe they were talking about after you receive it and you go through the activation process.

I think it is after you get the phone. This is a quote from the email:

"Save this information—you'll need it for online activation.

Note: Do not attempt to activate your device until you've received it.

To learn how to use your activated device, view our online tutorials."

I got the same text. Checked my order status through AT&T's website and have a ship date of 9/17-9/18.

I ordered the iPhone 6, 128 GB Space Gray.

Are you guys playing with our feelings about this warehouse shipment message??? Mine still says preparing for shipment.

Yep - two years ago there was the exact same freak out. Especially when people got tracking numbers from China that Monday/Tuesday and AT&T orders seemed to be stuck in 'processing' or preparing for shipment. Turned out many units were already stateside and updated midweek from a distribution center and showed up on time that week.

Yup, guys just need to chill out here on the forums. This same thing happened before and was corrected, usually the wednesday before launch. Quit beating yourselves up over this and freaking out. We all love our apple products, but just take a deep breath and go watch some tv or take a walk or something.

Depend I think. Apple order will say preparing for shipment. Att order will say warehouse shipment message.

Hopeful

I saved the order confirmation page that AT&T gives you when you complete the preorder and in the body of the message there's a line that reads "We will process your payment when we ship the device to you at:" After I received the your order has been processed text I checked my bank account and indeed I've been charged for the phone. With that, I'm hopeful I'm going to have my shiny new toy on launch day.

Well, my ATT order page still says October 13-22. However, ordering from Apple outright says 3-4 weeks, which would be more like Oct 4-10 (and in line with what ATT said at the time of order, which was 14-21 business days). I would think the next big batch would ship uniformly, so I'm hopeful. That said though, what do I know.
