I would usually agree to go back but doesn't T-mobile have a contract with ATT still to fall back to ATT towers if they get bad signal? My friend just went up north and was pissed off too with ATT. Its cause they been shutting down all their towers and in transition. I was told by ATT that I couldn't get good signal cause they were in transition to LTE.

I don't know about a contract but yeah tmo got a bunch of AT&T towers and $ from the merger fail. Interesting AT&T didn't have edge on way to SF from LA before though. I'm gonna hang in w/ tmo and see if this LTE helps in a few months. Call service was there but data was crap

Did anyone get this AT&T $60 plan? if so can you please tell us, I made a thread, its got lots of view but very little feedback...:

- LTE Speeds
- Visual Voicemail working?
- MMS?
- Tethering?

That model doesn't support AT&T's frequencies. It was designed for use in Asian markets.
Nothing they can do for you.

Always reference on Apple Site before giving opinion Because A1429 = International GSM Model (Same as Verizon/Sprint but with CDMA Disabled & fewer LTE bands - Verizon iPhone 5 is Factory Unlocked = Supports 3G/4G HSPA+ on AT&T + T-Mobile, just not LTE)

GSM model A1429*: UMTS/HSPA+/DC-HSDPA = 3G/4G (850, 900, 1900, 2100 MHz); GSM/EDGE = 2G (850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz); LTE (Bands 1, 3, 5) http://www.apple.com/iphone/specs.html

Everyone giving you their "expert" opinion is wrong so far

You will be fine [just make sure your iPhone is Unlocked or you get it unlocked from your current operator/carrier/network, You will be able to use:

- Voice, Texting, MMS
- Visual Voice Mail
- 3G/4G Data (plenty fast for your needs)
- NO LTE (Your iPhone doesn't have band 4 and 17 required for AT&T [or even T-Mobile] LTE Data)

Straight Talk is a way better deal. I have my daughter on the $45 unlimited everything, data speeds are great, talk quality is excellent! You can't beat it, she never gets throttled and uses about 4 gigs a month.
