Do you still have your LegacyGT? lol

Nope... Turned the LGT in back in 2008 for a 2009 Forester XT Limited (w/ Navigation), and I turned that back in June and now have a 2011 Kia Sportage SX (AWD). It's pretty nice. 269 lb ft torque at 1850 rpm, and 260 hp. Weighs almost exactly what the 2009 Forester XT Limited weighed. More power, quicker acceleration, a lot more torque, and runs on 87, and better fuel economy (I can get 25+ mpg on the highway with it). Can't complain.

What about you?

Must be nice, I'm still stuck at 1.5MB here in Cincinnati with upload at 50k

Pulled 9.58 Mbps a little while ago here in Kansas City! My average with the 4s is around 5mbps. Only thing that is killing me is the battery.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; CPU iPhone OS 5_0 like Mac OS X) AppleWebKit/534.46 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1 Mobile/9A334 Safari/7534.48.3)

I get between 1.5 mb and 6.7 mb down in Maryland depending on where I am in the state.

Boy, 9+ is pretty good. For me, I get 5.8 - 6.2 mps. For the most part, I'm happy with my download speeds.

That is awesome. I only get about 5.5 in the St. Louis area. My wifi doesn't even get results that quick (about 6mb on a 25mb connection, which makes me go wtf?!?).

Now you can break your 2G cap even faster! That is assuming you aren't one of the lucky grandfathered unlimited's...

Wow

And I thought 5.9 was great.
Here are my speed test results on iPhone3G(10/6/11) vs iPhone 4S(10/17/11) at the same location(my desk)
North of Orlando, FL

I know the pain you used to have. I also had an iPhone 3G, which is what I was using before I got the 4S on Friday, and I went from speeds of around 0.75 Mbps on 3G along with a broken wifi antenna to this awesome iPhone 4S with is giving me speeds at times close to 10 Mbps.

I just did a test
Ping 148m, DL 2.62Mbps, UP 1.08Mbps
and I right next to an AT&T tower located in East great Los Angeles area

Man I switched to Sprint and am getting dial up speed on 3G... 0.2 meg dl... What a joke. Time to switch back to AT&T.

That's worse than what I was getting with the iPhone 3G, that was hobbled with too little ram, a broken wifi antenna, and iOS 4. It was such a slow phone, but it would get up to 1.6 Mbps in ideal conditions on AT&T's 3G service.

I'm slightly jealous. I switched to Verizon when they got the iPhone 4 came out and the fastest speed I've seen on my 4S is 1.5 mbps. While I love the reliability, tethering isn't much of an option at that speed.

4G/LTE Mifi here I come...

The best I've gotten in Durham NC is 3.5 mbps down. Right now I'm not even getting 1mbps. :(

Getting close to 6 at times in WPB, FL but average is more like 3. Still not bad and beats the 1mb DSL at my work. Ugh. That feels like dial up!

Why am i not getting these speeds on my 4S? the AT&T Coverage Maps says i am in the "4g" area, yet speedtest.net only results in 2.80Mbps down and 1.06Mbps up. Granted it is faster than my 4 which got 1.71Mbps down and 1.06Mbps up, but would have though i would see at least 4Mbps with HSPA+
