Who needs a bigger screen and all that extra stuff, just get a Moto razr then. It plays music fine and makes calls too

The 5S is a good device. After owning big phones since the Note 1 I personally am over my phablet phase as well. A small screen as a good daily driver is worth it to some people. And anyways, it is their money

I don't understand your people's logics.

My bill isn't changing. Whether I get iPhone 5s or 6s it does not change. I still pay 75 a month.

The phone was 50 bucks, with no activation charge for 32gb. Vs paying 200 for a 16 or 300 for whatever next step up is,

My 5s has been fantastic for 2 years, this new one will go 2 more years and I have two phones now as a back up.

I don't mind my contract for 2 years because I have unlimited data and I know it's stuck with me for at least two more years

Why upgrade to a giant brick that I have no desire and pay for?

Your bill is stupid high for today's standards because of that 2 year contract plan. You're paying for that 5s in full because of the subsidy. You paid $50 PLUS an extra $25 a month for 24 months on your phone bill - $600 in subsidies. So, basically you paid $650 for a $500 MSRP 2 year old phone. Puke. That phone is on eBay, new, for $410 unlocked.

I use 5-15gb a month of data.
Any other plan will rape me. I have to have unlimited.

I use to make fun of people with phablets and said it looked like they were shoving a movie theater screen in their pocket... But I gave the iPhone 6 Plus a try last year and WOW. Now when I use my wife's iPhone 5 I giggle because it is like using a little baby toy. I never though I would like a big phone, but now I would NEVER go as small as a 5s and yes I owned the 3G, 4, 4S, 5, 5S, and now 6 Plus.

BUT even if you don't want to give it a shot, you should at least buy the new iphone and sell it for $600-700 and then just buy a replacement battery for your current 5S and pocket like $520... shoot you could buy 2 iphone 5c's for backup with the extra cash if you love the size SO MUCh http://www.ebay.com/itm/Apple-iPhon...en-New-Other/291497129480?hash=item43de953608

As someone who has used both the 6 and 6 Plus and my friends Note I can say there is a huge difference between a phablet (note / 6 plus) and regular 6.

As you can see the 5 and 6 are almost the same size.

This picture is the reason why i returned my white faced iPhone 6+ for a black 6+. The 5s is like freshly bleached teeth while the 6+ white is like yellowed smoker teeth. It was just not a premium look when next to a 5s.
