Thanks gdevitry!

I am running the script myself now, and no iphones were shipped today to my area. What I do not understand is that they had over a month to make these. Lets say if they were still waiting on bugs, then don't simultaneously release to so many countries when you cant meet demand. Release by country should have been staggered.

Sure thing. I'm off to get my 16 Wht!

If I have time later today, I'll try to rethink the caching scheme (make it server controlled with limited access to the data; rss feed the stats; ajax some of it). :p

The non-caching is up and running (or you can run it locally).

p.s. thanks to those that sent a donation. Not needed but appreciated.

Yea a good idea would be to troll the site every ~ 2 hours with orders that are in the database and listed as not shipped. Then only do on demand requests if the order is not already in the DB (IE check if a order if its in the DB, if so pull it, otherwise request a update from ATT).

With 100,000+ orders that is still a little intensive ...

Well, the newest method has been killed by ATT (wonder what took them so long). I tried building a caching model... I could jump IPs but I only have couple to jump to...

Go further up this thread for the download (also linked on my page). There is a widget somewhere and an rss feed script too (search the other threads).

As wifey says, "You don't really care any more since you have your iPhone". Well, not totally true but kind of...

Picked it up 20 minutes after FedEx dropped it off. No questions asked. They went to a locked room. Got the box (still in the shipping box). The guy who sold it was not there so a manager had to help. The 'clerk' would not put down the box until the manager was ready. Carried it like it was gold!

Left with an un-opened box. I guess I could have sold it on eBay. NOT. The manager could not get it activated so he said "Just switch the SIM and plug into iTunes". Got home and presto, I have a working 3G. :D:D:D:D:D
