we were told 21-28 business days. black 16gb was 19 days and white 16gb will be 21 or 22. (hoping for 21 because that's today).

Latest I've seen for 16gb is 9/24. But if this trend continues, should see some more 9/24 and some 9/25 today. You're very close!

It's confirmed that UPS won't ship on Saturdays... For the white i got shipping info at 1am and now it says it will arrive on Monday.

AT&T 32gb black ordered 9/30, still on backorder as of this afternoon.
Now GET THIS, placed an order for a 32gb white for my wife this past Tuesday, 10/16 (Verizon site), and I just got the tracking number today! According to Fedex it will be delivered this Tuesday the 23rd. WTF. I could be wrong, but I assumed that the VZW iPhone 5's were just as backordered as all the other carriers..?

Well it doesn't seem that way. AT&T has more iPhone users than other carriers, so you'd think Apple would give them way more. But it doesn't seem like they are since they have way more stock than AT&T.

Just checked the last few replies in the "Verizon Pre-Order Thread" and it does look like a lot of people are getting their iPhones pretty quick. The VZW 16gb models are slower to ship, but the 32/64 models are shipping pretty quickly (within a week). Just FYI...
