Severe weather, flooding, and power outages due to Hurricane Sandy are causing some unavoidable service delays in Connecticut, Delaware, Maine, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington, D.C., and West Virginia.
No pickups, deliveries, or On Call Pickup® service are available in the ZIP Codes listed below.
I read it again and it still says same thing. says service are available in the ZIP Codes listed below.
Received with issues
So, received my iPhone 5 yesterday and all was well, at least I thought. Restored and activated my phone and was using Wifi, making and receiving calls and even sending text messages. Left the house to go out and noticed I was not getting emails. Went to check them manually and received a message stating I was not subscribed to a data plan. Justso you know, I upgraded from an iPhone 4 to a 5. I call AT&T and they said the SIM was bad and to get it replaced. Went down to my local store this morning and they replaced theSIM butthe issue did not go away. An hour later found out that they, AT&T, did not connect my new iPhone 5 with a data plan. After they figured it out, I was up and running in no time. Geez!

They are "supposed" to make 3 attempts. The 1st attempt they will leave a delivery notice (...a little sticky note attached to your door) which gives you the chance to contact them to make alternate delivery arrangements. You can arrange to pick it up, or have it delivered to your work if they accept UPS deliveries and will sign on your behalf, or have it delivered to a neighbor (...signature required). Worst case scenario (in my opinion), you might come home to find it sitting on your doorstep. You can always call UPS now to see if they will go ahead and work out delivery with you. Hope that helps. I'm working all day every day too...my roommate works at home and should be able to accept my delivery and I am still so incredibly anxious!!! Wish I could be there to sign for it myself...to make the cycle complete. After waiting a whole month, you kinda want to be the one to hold the box first!!!! LOL

Weirdly, my zip is 11225, I just made it... But have seen no progress on my iphone or another package I'm expecting that's already here in Brooklyn.

It says delivered. I sure hope its there when I get home in a few hours!
Mine has been delivered to the AT&T Store. Do I need to wait for them to call or just go by and tell them I want to pick up my phone?
That's what we did and just went in and they got it for us with proper ID of course.
OK. I added a line with this one to get the upgrade price and they'll have to switch my data and number over. I hope I won't have to wait for the guy I worked with to come in to do it. I'll swing by after class and see if I can get it set up.

Wife just ordered white 16 gig iPhone From AT&T website. Mine took 28 days (or 20 Business days) to get to me. Let's see how long the wife's phone takes. Seems they are flowing faster now. We'll keep you advised.

Today is my 28th business day and still on BO. AT&T store and customer service are effin useless. They have no idea as to why or when we will get our phones. They said they would get us them locally if they were in stock there isnt any....wanna choke somebody at AT&T

I ordered on 9/24 and got it on 10/23. 29 days... My mom ordered yesterday 16GB WHT. Hope it gets here faster.

UPDATE! My White 16GB iPhone now has tracking info. It's in Texas and will be delivered by 3:00pm tomorrow. So freaking excited! It'll be the 15th business day tomorrow.
Mine is flying into Newark from DFW today.
UPS tracking says DFW Airport, TX, United States - 10/31/2012 - 2:55 P.M. - Departure Scan.

It says Dallas/Fort Worth Intl to Newark Liberty Intl on Wed 03:14PM CDT.
