Hi question about upgrading to the iPhone 4 tomorrow (preorder)

This time with the preorder option, I'd LOVE to order from apple.com
No problem.
About 8 months ago or so, with a new job, I was able to get a discount on my phone/data service through a FAN contract with my employer
As long as you are eligible for upgrade.
When I dial the *639# number on my phone it states I'm upgrade eligible...however, I read today online that Apple.com has a eligibility check you can run in advance is that true?

Since iPhone 4 is not listed for pre order that is why those phones are appearing.

Which would indicate you are upgrade eligible.
Ah just by getting to that site listing the 3g and 3gs I'm eligible?
Then you should have no problem upgrading tomorrow with eligiblity.

I still think its crappy that I manage our AT&T wireless account, I setup the premier for our company, but I can't get the premier discount because my home phone and cell are on the same bill.
 
When I click the banner all I see is iPhones so those unable to view iPhones on the premier site might Want to call.

Can all FAN's get the activation fee waived?
 
I am opening a NEW AT&T account. Through my college I am eligible for the premier account. They sent me an email to sign up for a plan and pick a phone. Do I have to go through this to preorder my iPhone 4? Or can I preorder through APPLE and add the premier discount program to my plan afterwards?

So why did you pick combined billing?

It is a choice you make, AT&T did not force you to choose that option

No each FAN has different benefits. Some offer waved new activations only, some both, you get the idea.

You can pre-order through Apple and add the FAN at any time after that.

You can add it on later but it takes about a month or two until you see the discount on your bill. I signed up through the premier link last year when the iPhone came out I had no problems and my discount was shown on my first bill.
 
what is everyones pre oder statuses saying?

Do you show Activated under order status?

For my wife's preorder through Premier, it's saying ATTENTION! Like it wants my help or something... :D I'll call in later this morning to see if there is anything that's holding it up. I did note on the status page, it said "New Service" which is not right. I am just upgrading her phone from a 3g.
 
24 straight hours now and still can't log in to Premier to even see if I can order.

Working for a company that handles massive transaction loads 7x24, I have little sympathy for this EPIC FAIL AT&T!
 
I had two premiere orders that kep getting canceled email messages after ordering so I went to the AT&T store and ordered from them.


The one premiere order I got through at 436am yesterday shows as "received, check. And than "processing". The only check mark missing is "shipped". So I am good to go with that order.
 
Here's a question for other Premier members:

Just checked over on the AT&T forums and Premier members there are saying that they can see their order via the regular order lookup if they login via their cell number as well as via the Premier order status page. I can only see my order on the Premier status page. How many of you can see the regular order page, and should I be concerned that I can't?

I can see the two premier orders I placed in the regular order status system now; premier orders are verified and then moved over to the regular system for fulfillment. I cannot view the order using my cell number, but I can view it using my work phone number. Try using the work number you placed the order with, and the billing/shipping zips if they differ.

No good. Same error. I also tried calling in and checking my order that way: nothing. Couldn't get through to a living, breathing human being yet, but I'll keep trying.

Is it a rule that all Premier members should be able to see their order on either "side" of AT&T's site, or am I being prematurely worried that it's not showing on the regular public side?

Mine showed on on the regular site about 11:00pm last night. Of course they say backorder though. CC also havs the poending charges for iP4 from ATT, as well as bumper from Apple Store.
 
Finally got through to customer service on the phone (20+ minutes of a short loop of some really great "jazz" over and over) and they confirmed my order is safe and secure, nestled snuggly in their system, it just hasn't moved on in the system yet. So there's yet another layer there - it may show in Premier but not the regular side.

mine shows on regular att site using this link with my phone number have you tried that https://www.wireless.att.com/order_status/order_status.jsp?vMethodI got an order number but it don't work on the premier site why:confused:
