Just got my parents iPhone 16PM and installed the ESR screen protectors. The install was simple and straight forward but the screen protector has rainbow effect on all edges.

I’m returning these back to Amazon. Anyone here with alternatives that don’t run into the rainbow effect?

It's a bit pricey, but try Peel. WOW! They now come in a 2-pack, but they don't have the privacy screen protectors.

I've never run into any issues with them and never had the rainbow effect. I did get the ESR Privacy screen protectors though and am fairly happy with it.

Literally just left a review stating the same thing. I used the easy application protector and it installed slightly lower on the screen. Feel like they didn't account for the slightly larger screen area so its a little off.

wow, glad I found this thread. I got my 16PM today and installed the Ultra Tempered glass and saw a rainbow line on the top of my phone. I thought my phone screen had an issue and now I look at the sides and bottom and it has it too!

Yeah, the issue is that most of theee companies gonna have issues with their screen protectors because of the thin bezel and being able to have enough clearance for the cases

I have the Tersley 3 pack from Amazon and same rainbow effect on upper right and lower left corners.
I think the installation has to be perfectly aligned and no deviation in any direction.

16PM tempered glass need to be full edge to edge with zero black borders since the current batch of ones cover the screen and make the borders thicker once applied. Anyone find one ? I’d also like it to have a speaker gasket.

And also they were tooled up for production using Apple dummy models.

Going to wait with the one I’m currently using since it appears the Amazon sellers are price gouging due to recent iPhone release. Never seen two packs of screen protectors going for about $30 before til recently 🤣

ESR here

I recall having this happen with cheap Chinese-made types. Always had this happen. ESR is a terrible company to buy. I had nothing but problems with their trash. I am sorry to hear about your problem.

I also have the rainbow effect with the ESR protector on my 16 Pro. And there's one edge that won't adhere to the glass (tried 2 screen protectors, each had a different edge that wouldn't adhere). I'm going to try TORRAS today.

the Torras one just blocks the rainbow effect, its def there. best thing to do is just use what you have now and wait until these companies figure it out because Im sure they are getting a TON of retturns right now.
