ATV 4k + AirPlay Speakers

Hey guys, I can use AirPlay speakers (AirPort Express) on my ATV4k without a problem with HBO GO, YouTube, Netflix, Hulu, DirecTV NOW, etc etc....I can even control the volume.

However, when I send a video from my iPhone X to the ATV4k, ATV automatically switches back to HDMI? (I don't have speakers connected to my viewing device).

I swear in TVOS11 this used to work, in TVOS 12 it doesn't.

Do you need to select the Express from the phone?

I tried that since newest express allows airplay 2, but it defaults back to hdmi and does some weird things.

I swear it used to work until iOS12 and TVOS12

Ive sent multiple bug reports and feedbacks about this hope others do the same.
