I have an ATV4 64 GB and guess what? I am keeping it! It has performed flawlessly and has done a great job of consolidating most of my digital media needs. I am thoroughly enjoying the new UI, apps especially Plex, the silly but beautiful screensaver, speed, etc. The new tvOS platform has tremendous potential and without doubt, just like the evolution of iOS, will get better in the near future. Does it need improvement? Of course it does! So either enjoy the ride while those improvements happen or don't buy one or if you have bought one, return it. As for me, I will continue to enjoy my ATV4!

Judging by all the negative comments in this forum, it seems like I'm the only one actually enjoying the new Apple TV. It's a little rough around the edges for sure, but at least for my habits it seems solid and I can tell there's a lot of room to grow.

You'r not the only one, I am happy too, but for other reasons...I was just looking for the faster WiFi Protocol (which it has) and don't care much for the rest. The remote is very touch sensitive causing me to interrupt movies unintendently, but the bluetooth compared to infra red remote is a good upgrade.

Has anyone upgraded from a Roku to this? How many streaming apps are there compared to a Roku? I don't care about the lack of Amazon streaming. Which size to get?

Just got a nvidia shield tv today for the $150 deal with free remote as well.

The device is a beast. Streams extremely fast and 4K looks stunning and the hardware is actually very nice with included controller and free remote.

With that being said, android tv is a disaster. Ugly, terrible layout and lacking so many apps it's inexcusable.

No watchespn, no Disney junior and other kids apps, and HBOgo doesn't work with android tv and charter.

Very frustrated with the apps and android tv. Considering atv4 but I may wait to see if it polishes up. No 4K is big for me with my new tv and love me some kodi but apps are a big differentiator for me
