I posted this in the video thread as well, but I wanted to show off how well the audio sounds in the video recordings. This is a recording of the Hollywood Bowl opening night finale with a final conduction by the legendary John Williams. Also, notice that this was recorded during the night, yet the video still has a very nice quality. Check it out if you will! Thanks. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yLYGUYsS6vs
For anyone wondering I posted this in the other thread as well, the HQ button on youtube seems to only show up when you upload from the computer rather than directly from your phone.
could this be the start of the end of those horrible cell phone concert videos were you can't tell what your looking at let alone what they are singing?? lol
Lovely! But is the sound really recorded straight from the iPhone? OK, your vid is 6:10. How much space did that one video eat up? Edit: Wouldn't it be delicious if there was a zoom?
Yes mega, that video is completely originally recorded on the iPhone, sound and everything. I am not sure how much space it took up however
I couldn't agree more. On Friday night we went to an Aretha Franklin concert and I recorded with the 3GS. Hard to see due to the lighting conditions and our position in the auditorium but the audio was astounding!
Jas - About how far away from the speakers were you? I'd love to hear it. I'm intrigued by these audio recording quality reports. Didn't expect this.
