Well, I ended up changing mine. Just about every time I'd come back to my computer, I'd think I had a BSOD.

Here's my new one. It's a BMW 120d from GT4. I put some M3 wheels on it. Fully modded. It's a Turbodiesel, but it'll outrun some fast cars.

This is pointless to post but I go by the Apple philosophy: simplicity. Plus I strive to make my desktop as beautiful as Steve's keynote desktops... It's that damn OCD flaring up again.

You're not the only one. Every Stevenote I change my desktop back... I move the dock back to the right a few seconds later usually, but the rest stays.

Oh, and I *hate* desktop clutter. FWIW.

He-he... I've never used the feature... well, actually I've accidentally "used" it a couple of times, and sworn all the way to the Desktop prefpane, but I've never meant to use it...
