[*IMG]http://img207.imageshack.us/img207/2902/fullscreen1dq5.th.jpg][/IMG][/URL]
Just take the *s out of the URL and IMG tags and change the address for your own.

Perhaps not the exact forum to ask for some help but it does apply to desktop/wall paper. Here goes. I've got a picture that I want to use as a desktop. The subject is on the right side of the picture and I'd like to reverse/mirror image to the left as I have my desktop folders predominately on the right side. I've tried to change it by opening with Preview and then "horizontally reverse". Then I save it and when opened again nothing has changed. I've tried to save it to a different folder and under a new name and even as a different type of pic, ie a TIFF as opposed to a JPEG, still "no joy". Any help would be appreciated:)

BTW, the only editing programs I have are iPhoto and Preview. Yeah, pretty weak:eek: . Cheers

For some reason, whatever you do in Preview, editing wise, only takes effect in Preview.

Without using Photoshop, All I can suggest is flip it using Preview, then take a screenshot of the wallpaper (Apple key, Shift + 4). This will be saved as a jpg or png on your desktop (Picture 1) - simply drag this into a folder, rename to whatever you want - and set it as a wallpaper. :)

It might just be me but your desktop takes hours to load! :)

EDIT: Okay, I think it's just me. It was. But I wish I could download a Puma one too! Not just a blank one.

HA! I got it!!! Opened with Preview, horizontal flip, then save as PNG. Put back into the folder for my desktops. Works great. Thanks for your help. Cheers

Usually cars but occassionally something else "hot", "fast" and "colorful" slips in:)

Mine for August:

I have reduced the icon size to 40*40, and the text size to 11pt. I like how it looks. :)

righty O, here are two i'm currently switching between this august. i'm a little late off the mark this month because i was away in asia (see one of my previous posts. i would have done this yesterday, but i spent about 3 hours standing next to a baggage carousel at heathrow...watching that same orange bag.....go round...and round....and round....

 :D

both pics were taken by me in july. the A380 is F-WWOW, the first one built, at farnborough IA2006.

the second is of a generic Virgin 747 departing heathrow on 18th jul. Please excuse the quality of both pics. Photobucket is being screwy with me and the website freezes if i try to upload anything bigger than a flea.

enjoy. S
