Love your style. The link is the best "Search for Yourself" that I have seen.

got this wallpaper a few desktop threads ago, still love the wallpaper. the colors really look nice.

Great work man, how did you get that dock?

To get the dock 2D you have to enter this command into Terminal:

defaults write com.apple.dock no-glass -boolean YES
killall Dock

Then to make it clear you have to run a program called Mirage.

I just used Paintbrush and an app called Img2icns to make the icons.

cool illustration of global warming. :)

cool pic, but u should organize it so it isn't so clutter. one buys a mac for its simple elegant design (and stellar os), so i would think you would keep things simple and free of clutter on your desktop.

haha, are you really telling someone else how to organize their files?? Or do you think he is giving mac users a bad name, god forbid.

I've seen people with files covering every inch of the desktop, it's just how some people work.

I don't see how my files are cluttered?? I mean, sorry I don't like going into Finder and looking for every damn file when I could just hit Command-M and then just have my files there.

And to think, hugorganista was thinking that it was his computer to do with as he pleased. :D

Actually, while I wouldn't defend the way he said it, keeping your desktop clean is actually good for system operation. I recommend that if you need quick access, make aliases on the desktop, because having a large number of items on your desktop (or in folders on your desktop) will slow the operation of the computer. I've seen some computers actually get to the point where they refused to boot because of very large (100GB+) desktop folders.

There was a time when I cared about what it looked like, and I tried to make the dock icons custom. I gave up on that because this computer is used for work only now and is a utility rather than a looker. I set my dock to auto-minimize now.
