Nah Apple can't do anything about it. If it's a week late they might give it to you for free.
Honestly just order one for pick up this week and return the one that comes in the mail later.
All that new width and they can't fit another icon or two in the status bar?
Yep 😔 very stubborn, move the WiFi or cellular logo over to where the clock is, then add the bloody battery percentage 😡🤦♂️😂
In older iPhone models I always had the battery % showing. Since notch life i'm actually enjoying not seeing the battery % because i'm one of those people that freak out if my battery gets below 50% 😂

I’ll order one tomorrow for Friday, they only give you 3 days to pickup your order from the day you place the order, can’t be bothered going Thursday and then Friday again.

Yes all iPhone launch day deliveries are done by TNT overnight express.
AusPost only delivers Apple cases, accessories, chargers, cables etc (ie. cheaper stuff that don't require signatures).

@Boardiesboi any chance in store pickup orders will be delayed? Never seen that happen before.
Nah very little chance. They don’t use local carriers to import the phones I would’ve thought.
That’s why I went for store pickup. Bright and early and hit the empty city, pick up my Sierra blue and play with it all Friday
