Can the cops give you a fine if you tell them you’re taking your car out for a drive becuase it hasn’t been driven in a while lol?

My apple store is over 10km away, I’m still going, need a good reason just in case I get pulled over. 😁

6 reasons to leave home lol

1. shopping for necessary goods and services
2. caregiving or compassionate reasons, including medical care or to get a test
3. authorised work (with a permit) or permitted education
4. exercise (once a day for up to 4 hours, and that 4 hours includes any time spent outdoors socialising in limited groups)
5. outdoor social interaction in limited groups (once a day for up to 4 hours, and that 4 hours includes any time spent on exercise)
6. )
If the apple store is in or near a shopping centre I would just tell them you're going shopping. Doubt they'd follow you to confirm your story.
Not sure about the rules in Victoria, but in NSW you can travel further than the max. distance (for us it is still 5km) if the goods you are trying to buy are not available locally.

"If the goods or services are not available in the local government area where you live, or within 5km of where you live, you can travel to the nearest place where they are available."

I think there is an argument to be made that a mobile phone is essential (especially because we have to use it to check in everywhere).

But at least initially, you will be at the mercy of the person you encounter, who gets to interpret the rules on the spot...
Some of the rules have changed, the 12 LGAs of concern are now in line with the rest of NSW. Shopping can be done 5km from home or within your own LGA. To me those points kind of contradict each other but the way I read that is I can go anywhere in my LGA.

Don’t think apple is onto a winner here with this no plastic wrap nonsense.

The phones haven’t even hit stores or been delivered and they already look like they’ve been opened.

Not a good look for such a expensive device.

Yes while the silicone case looks and feels nice, they stick to my pocket and takes on lint and dust very easily.
I went the dark navy with my blue 12 pro last year. Got it a week before the phone, then used it for 2 weeks before buying the leather for this very reason. So much pocket lint/dust was clinging to it that it got on my nerves, and I don’t even have OCD.

Will be leather for sure on the 13 if I decide to ditch the Spigen, just have to pick a colour.

Pretty sure if anything was going to change by now with these silicone cases being a dust and lint magnet, it would’ve happened by now, be nice if one day they don’t attract any dust or lint, not holding my breath though.

Don’t they do the same with Apple Watch bands and cases? I dunno seems like a non issue to me. If I get my phone from Apple or a carrier and it the phone itself looks new I’m not going to worry for a second.

Guess as long as the seal isn’t fully broken, then you know it hasn’t been tampered with, same boat as you, not really fussed, not a good look though.

Silicone cases have a strong seal.

Watch band seems to have a stronger seal, phone seal looks like its stuck on with weak tape

What about this? 😩 Paper seals are so easy to damage. Can get rid of the full body wrap but definitely need a final plastic seal/tab
