iPhone 13 Australian Pre orders

I was hesitating putting a screen protector on such a stunning screen in fear of diluting it - but hopped into JB and picked one up anyways, as I always have stuff banging around in my purse.

I have just put the Belkin Ultraglass screen protector on - while pricey, the clarity is sensational, and the installation was ridiculously easy

Time will tell with the wear and tear, but I couldn’t be happier with it right now

I got my phone yesterday and have already gone through 2 of them, both had issues sticking in the corner. That was the $49 one from JB I also got the $29 one and so far so good.

Mine got warm in the same spot while setting up but cool as a cucumber since.
Mines warm at the moment, so maybe a safari thing. My 12 pro did too, so hopefully it’s not software related and carried over with the transfer. Not in the mood to reset the phone and set up as new, although with everything in iCloud I won’t lose any data, I’ll just have to go through individual settings and so on. I’ll see how it goes over the next week or so.

On another note, for anyone thinking they can’t tell 120Hz, I’m currently browsing the PlayStation store in the PS app. With third party apps not using 120Hz at the moment, it’s very noticeable, and quite jarring.

30% left. I’ve been using the phone a lot more than usual today. I don’t normally dwell on battery life, if I get through a day I’m happy. Only thing I sometimes check is background use to see if any apps have gone rogue. The Reddit app was chewing battery in the background, even with background refresh off. Deleted and went back to Apollo.

Also been using the phone more than I normally would, with normal use, it should easily last 2 days.

Took mine off the charger at 5.41am, been on it most of the day, just hit 10 hours usage and I’ve still got 27% left, this thing is a beast, nothing will come close to matching or beating it anytime soon.👌

Wonder which genius at apple decided that using neon colored live wallpapers at night is a good idea 🙄🤦‍♂️😂

Nice looking wallpapers, not easy on the eyes at night though.

H

Here’s my second favorite trouble maker 😂 I’m pretty sure my eyes are just fine, since I’ve been on my phone all day testing out the battery 😜.

second 🤨?? almost hurt my feelings. battery is def living up to my expectations which is the number one reason I upgraded. 14 hours off the charger with 64% left. amazing!

Equal first 😜😂

Yep, I’ve given up for the night lol, just hit 20% for 11h27m usage, easily get 13 hours.

You going to fill up that 512gb iPhone this year? 😂 start taking macro shots, they’re amazing.

those results off of the first charge is amazing. less charging and preserving the battery health over time. Apple finally listened and corrected the mistake of the 12 Pro sucky battery.

i'm going to try 🤣. going to start vlogging for Youtube and test out this 4K video. still looking into a great camera for filming content though. its a toss up between Sony and Canon.

Damn you’re a harsh critic, I was getting great battery life on my 12 pro max 😂

This phone should’ve been released last year.

Let me know when you make it on YouTube, I’ll subscribe 👉▶️

Meanwhile I lost 3% battery in 37 minutes just browsing the net

Then went fro 97% - 92% just restarting the phone, lol

No movement at all on my case for 9 days now. 🤦‍♂️ Starting to get annoyed. 🤨

Any other Victorians in the same boat?

Calling apple tomorrow, might just cancel the order, don’t think i can since its already shipped, maybe they’ll give it to me for free. 🤦‍♂️😂

Think it’s a bug, noticed yesterday and today, I’ve lost 2-3% in one hit, still finished yesterday with 12 hours usage and 16% battery left.

Yeah I think you're right

I got angry anyway and knee jerk reset my phone lol, getting two birds stoned to see if the unlock with watch workaround posted in that other thread works

Also noticing my phone getting warm, was on 85% battery, restarted the phone, now I’m on 81% lol

Restarted my phone before, now my battery percentage isn’t dropping 🤦‍♂️ Tried everything, percentage will go up if charging, won’t go down when in use, anyone have a fix? 🤦‍♂️

So far it’s handling it very well, not noticing lint and dust all over the case like the darker silicone cases, also matches the sierra blue iPhone nicely.
Thanks for the quick reply

I’m still deciding between going for a silicone or a leather one 😅

By the way. I don’t usually carry my phones without a case. But this time while deciding which color to get I’ve been using it like that for the last couple of days (iPhone 13 pro) and noticed the left hand side, close by the volume up/down buttons it gets quite hot. Is that normal or someone else has noticed it?
