Did they improve the silicone case this year? It’s not as sticky and doesn’t seem to attract dust and lint as much as past years.
I’d love to tell you, maybe once we get out of this lockdown in 2044 🤦♂️

Why do we need to be out of lockdown first lol. What’s your experience like using it for a day? I’ve been using it for an hour or two and it doesn’t feel as “dusty” as last years version.
Cheers, wife is happy too new 12 pro max lol. First thing I noticed it has more grip on the sides, no case yet JB has nothing, didn't want to waste $$ on something then just get the apple leather anyway.
I normally notice the dust more when it keeps going in and out of my pocket.
@Boardiesboi i can feel a bit of dust, can’t see it though, thanks to this case being a lighter color, might be onto a winner here, hate when you can see lint and dust on the silicone cases. 🤢🤮

Seems silicon attracts dust and lint like last year. Some say green is too dark, and is likely to get darker over time. Not an easy choice for cases this year.

Notice at times it gets warm in the top left corner, not hot though, so hopefully that’s normal depending on what it’s doing.
Also added Apple Care + this morning. First time I’ve done it with a phone, but I’ve recently started a new job, so it might be needed at some point. Just went the standard level, didn’t go theft or loss as I’m comfortable that won’t happen, touch wood.

Not sure what to think about battery life yet. I’ll reserve judgement until a week later as my phone was having lots of background activity overnight in the photos and messages apps.
I’ll get AC+ towards the end of the 60 day period just to save 1-2 months of monthly fee lol
I’ve always had insurance on my phone. And it’s come in handy a few times. Dropped my 11 crossing the street and managed to crack a camera lens.
Being able to take your phone to an Apple store rather than send it away and be phonless is worth it over any other policy out there.
Apple care + is enough for me as well, apple care + theft is a bit pricey, nice that they made apple care + cheaper this year. 👌

Yes, can avail of AppleCare+ in any country as long as Apple has its presence there directly or through an authorized reseller. I have once made a USA AppleCare+ claim in Australia without any issues, it's pretty straightforward.
Mine got warm in the same spot while setting up but cool as a cucumber since.
