I don't think it would be even remotely unfair for him to be kept in solitary confinement in a windowless hole for his sentence. Though if the other inmates are anything like some of the sorts you get in american prisons, I wouldn't want to deny them a fair crack at Fritzl. I imagine that won't happen though. They won't want to be seen as allowing violence to happen in their prisons, so the monster will probably be protected.
These sorts of stories bring out the ruthless animalistic sides in lots of us. I feel somewhat guilty for wishing such awful things on him but somehow I do. It gets under my skin.
