Auto brightness on or off

I have it off. When I do need it on, then I'll manually switch it on.

My story is the exact same as yours, auto brightness sucked on the 4s so I gave up on it until this year

I hate my iPod and Apple Watch how they don't auto change

Same with my Huawei Watch. I hate that it doesn't have an ambient light sensor, but I hate the flat tire display even more.
