I've got a MacBook Pro with a german keyboard layout. A while after I bought it, I realized that the english layout is much better, especially for programming. So when I use the MacBook with an external monitor I have the Apple USB Keyboard with the english layout.
So is there any way to automatically switch the layout if a monitor is connected? I tried multiple search terms, but the results always are about the clamshell mode.
