3.1A output (I think). 1A and 2.1A USB ports. Tried it again earlier and didn't work. Thought most were .5A or 1A.


The charge rate of the device may be 1a but it actually draws 10-15 depending on what your charging. The socket may be bad as well. You can check by using a test light and putting the clamp in ground (door hinge hook) and touching the pointed end on the small circle at the bottom. If it lights up the socket and fuse are good and the accessory charger is bad. No light means bad fuse or socket. I wrap tape around the side of the tester rod so it doesn't blow the fuse

Seems to work on and off now. If it works, it's for a few minutes, then I unplug the adapter, plug it back in and it works again, either for the rest of the trip or for a little while longer until I have to do it again. Only seems to happen when I plug my phone into the USB, which I find odd. I doubt the cable is the issue.
