Availability of Apple's Lightning Adapters and Cables Slipping [Updated]

Having to manage my iP5's battery is totally annoying cuz I can't charge it in my car or the office due to having only one cable for use at home.

I'm seriously not crazy about paying $19 for a cable...I'm surprised "working" iP5 cables haven't already flooded eBay.
