Zagg is very good with customers. Go to their official retail store. I got mine today and it is great.

The same thing happened when the 2nd gen iPhone came out - basically, Zagg were given measurements of the device by Apple and started making the covers before the phone was released, and before they had a chance to see it themselves and make the measurements themselves. After the phone was released (and after they had already sold covers), they realised it didn't fit properly.

When this happened to me with the iPhone, they redesigned the cover as soon as they got their hands on the actual device and took their own measurements. They then sent me a new cover free of charge. All I had to do was show them a copy of the receipt, and send back what remained of the plastic cover after I took it off the phone.

Contact Zagg first. If you have the receipt, I'm sure they will help you out, or tell you the best course of action.

when I contacted zagg before the ipad came out they said they were only taking preorders and would have the IS available soon after the release of the iPad. So I preordered online. Then everyone started going on about how they bought one at launch and I'm like wait, they're not even making them yet? My order online is still listed as being processed.

Now I'm wondering if something like this happened, and they aren't shipping the online orders until the dimensions are fixed but wanted something in stores at launch so they went with their best estimates. (maybe they assumed it would have the same width/height as ipad1)

I called them before the iPad came out. They said don't buy one until Monday but get to the store early because there will be a line. I got there 30 minutes before they opened and was second in line. No complaints.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with Zagg for the iPad

The Zagg brand screen protector for the iPad 2 is not made correctly. The home button and camera hole do not align properly on the iPad 2. I am very dissapointed and waisted 39$ at bestbuy w/ the install

There is absolutely nothing wrong with Zagg for the iPad. It aligns perfectly.

The reason your Zagg did not align is very simple. You purchased a Zagg screen protector for the iPad when you should have purchased a Zagg screen protector for the iPad 2.

What possibly made you assume that a Zagg screen protector which was designed for the iPad would also work for the iPad 2? You should have done your homework. Furthermore disappointed is not spelled "dissapointed" and the proper word is wasted, not "waisted".

Next time think, prior to making a mindless purchase.

You are 100% wrong. The initial batch of zagg invisible shields for the ipad 2 were off. The corrected version is shipping out from zagg today.

Avoid zagg altogether... Unless youre one of those people who also plastic wrap your couch, you don't need that sticky film stuff on your ipad.

Zagg fan

The polyurethane stretches slightly and is dependent upon sliding into place initially. Then it dries and gets stuck in place. I have had great luck with them, but putting it on is sometimes trouble. The stuff is impervious to wear and tear though.

I just hated how it degraded the screen quality and a major dust collector.

Is that supposed to be sarcasm? I sure hope so.

Do you enjoy scratches on your things? I sure don't.

I've started using Wrapsol. It has a matte finish that isn't shiny or real sticky like the other films tend to be.

While I still put screen and back protectors on my iPad, I agree with you on avoiding Zagg.

What other vendor do you recommend for a screen and back protector? I was in BB today and had the Zagg screen protector in my hand but I put it back and decided I would but it later. Glad I held off but looking for other recommendations.

When you put these on the screen the correct way it doesn't lessen the display potential and viewing details does it?

i've had sgp on my 3g iphone and loved it. got zagg for my iphone 4 and hated the feeling and fit. went back to sgp and if feels better and fits perfect.

It is you that is wrong. As of today's date, Zagg has not shipped iPad 2 invisible shields to retail stores. Therefore it is intuitively obvious, even to the most casual observer, that the people who are complaining purchased a Zagg invisible shield for the iPad and not the iPad 2.

At this time you may only purchase the Zagg iPad 2 invisible shield directly from Zagg.

Checkmate.

I guess I didn't really buy this on friday then, and my receipt doesn't show it as well.

I stand corrected. A few stores must have obtained Zagg invisible shields for the iPad2. However, I still believe that there is nothing wrong with the Zagg invisible shield for the iPad2.

In my opinion, you screwed up the application of the shield and are simply trying to pull a fast one so as to receive a free replacement and then try again, in the vain hope that you will not be as clumsy the next time around.

I could be wrong, but I don't think so. :p

Best buy installed it and the install is covered for life, so there goes your vanity argument They replaced my original with another that also didn't fit because of a dust speck under the original, and they told me to come back in about a week when the good ones were expected in, oh yeah they also said they were all wrong like that and had pulled them from the shelf. Zagg has confirmed they are bad, zagg also stated the corrected ones are shipping out to stores starting today on their facebook page.

Well, if that is the case, what I don't understand is why you would trust a Zagg technician at Best Buy to install your shield? After all it is not brain surgery. I for one would rather install my own shield and do it properly than leave it to a recently christened Zagg technician at Best Buy. As far as the dust speck is concerned, a Best Buy store is hardly a sterile operating theatre which is a requirement for a perfect shield install.

My home is dust free and sterile therefore, I have personally never experienced a problem with my Zagg shields. All of my electronic possessions are protected by Zagg. I love Zagg, it is the best, by far.

Me as well. Never had a problem and it is the best.
