There is absolutely nothing wrong with Zagg for the iPad. It aligns perfectly.

The reason your Zagg did not align is very simple. You purchased a Zagg screen protector for the iPad when you should have purchased a Zagg screen protector for the iPad 2.

What possibly made you assume that a Zagg screen protector which was designed for the iPad would also work for the iPad 2? You should have done your homework. Furthermore disappointed is not spelled "dissapointed" and the proper word is wasted, not "waisted".

Next time think, prior to making a mindless purchase.

Quit trying to troll the package even says ipad 2 and has the camera hole. Maybe if you read my original post you would see i even mentioned the camera hole not lining up? k thx.

I had one installed at best buy today and it definitely doesn't fit well. I'm going to email zagg for a replacement and install it myself.

i wont buy zagg again. i bought them for me and my gfs ip4s and hers lasted a week and mine lasted 2 before they started to peel.

I made a thread last friday about how everyone dropping $40 on this at Best Buy was a sucker. Looks like I was right. You can get front + back protection for less than half the price. The jokes on you; do your research and control your impulses.

I must agree. I should've went with my 1st mind and passed on it altogether. I will be @ Best Buy Friday evening though either getting a refund for the install and shield or just the Zagg. I don't even want a replacement.

Oh man...i dont often post here but i figured ywall would rip a hole in me anyway. I was at best buy at the launch the they found out that the Zaggs were not fittign , then told everyone to not buy them or if they did they could return them even if installed.

Zagg has always been good to me and replaced every thing i've sent back their way including screens , ear phones, and a zaggsparc .... no lip, just action

i dont work for any consumer electronics company or really care....no bad things to say about zagg.

That's why I removed mine and it looks like Best Buy won't accept them as a return so I'll just trash mine and chalk it up as a $40 lesson well learned

I put mine on, it didnt fit, took it back to best buy saturday morning and got a refund and gave them a bag of garbage...the guy wet it, pulled it apart and saw it didnt fit and said no problem.

I have them on my iphones and dislike the stickyness of it, and it smudges like mad....I will get the matte one like I have on my itouch

Thanks for the confirmation. I'll return mine Friday evening. That was my biggest grip with the iPad. The shield was sticky-like and it picks up everything around it. Definitely not worth the $25 plus $15 for install.

I have the same issue, I emailed Zagg on Monday about it, they emailed me back yesterday saying that they are aware of the issue and are sending me a replacement free of charge (including shipping). While $39.99 is high for a screen only protector, I am happy that they are at least replacing them and have acknowledged there is an issue. I'll give it another shot before I try a different brand.

If you have a misaligned screen protector, email them and let them know. (It may take a few days to get a response but at least they are doing the right thing)

They're doing the right thing, but after my brief experience with the protector I don't even want it. It will be returned this weekend.

I stand corrected. A few stores must have obtained Zagg invisible shields for the iPad2. However, I still believe that there is nothing wrong with the Zagg invisible shield for the iPad2.

In my opinion, you screwed up the application of the shield and are simply trying to pull a fast one so as to receive a free replacement and then try again, in the vain hope that you will not be as clumsy the next time around.

I could be wrong, but I don't think so. :p

You were dead wrong just now... so the probability of that being the case again is very high.

Zagg clearly rushed these to market, taking a gamble on the camera hole. They were wrong.

The first of what will be many threads complaining about Zagg films...

Even including the zaggboys extolling its virtues. Discount codes thread will soon be opened by a *cough* "forum member."

Be smart -- choose another brand.

Well, if that is the case, what I don't understand is why you would trust a Zagg technician at Best Buy to install your shield? After all it is not brain surgery. I for one would rather install my own shield and do it properly than leave it to a recently christened Zagg technician at Best Buy. As far as the dust speck is concerned, a Best Buy store is hardly a sterile operating theatre which is a requirement for a perfect shield install.

My home is dust free and sterile therefore, I have personally never experienced a problem with my Zagg shields. All of my electronic possessions are protected by Zagg. I love Zagg, it is the best, by far.

What happened to your statement that "knowledgeable and informed people know that ZAGG is a third rate product". I love seeing you eat your words, simply love it. This has made my evening, thanks for making yourself look like the (insert word) you really are. For those confused about my response, please go check out his most recent post here:

Hopefully this will humble you some because you need it.

Just FYI, one of the benefits of Zagg is that they have a lifetime warranty. So as long as you own the ipad, you can take it back and get a new one whenever you want. They may charge you the $10 fee for install, or you can just give them the old one and they'll give you a new one to put on yourself.

I've had great luck with them. It's a good product, all in all.

not for the ipad, i had my old ipad replaced at apple store, they took the screen protector off , place it on clean sheet of paper. the guy in cart said i needed to go online to file for replacement.

This us hilarious to see. I've seen a lot of that users posts, constantly bashing everyones opinions as if only his are correct and everyone else is an idiot for not having the same opinions. It's nice to see he doesn't leave his own posts out of the criticism.

Oh and ZAGG SUCKS. I used to like them but they're really screwing me over a lot lately.
