I get youre oint. I am still just saying what I would want from the device, nothing more.
I realize.. basically just wishing and vocalizing what would encourage your purchase. Nothing wrong with that!

I have seen some intirguing battery extender bads (where the links actually contain battery cells and claim to extend the battery to double), which could be a future option. Or not, I don't know.
Never been a fan of that type of stuff myself.. and especially in a sport environment. Doubt you could make that waterproof - which a true sport watch needs to be.

I wouldn't mind a larger device geared towards sport users. Apple has tapped the luxury watch market. I don't think tapping the sport market full on is bad idea.
Ding...Ding..Ding... we have a winner!
That' is EXACTLY what they need to do.. keep the current AW targeted at the environment it is (an actual watch with benefits) and then develop another device for the actual sports crowd that is larger and has the GPS/HR/etc. functions. I know I'd most likely have one of each.

I can't speak for them because I have never used them. I also don't wear watches, which is another reason I have a specific set of desires to get me to wear soemthing like this. The reserve strap claims to be water resistant and charges the watch through the proprietay interface (that I didn't even know existed until I looked it up), which tells me Apple had something like this (maybe not a battery, but a means of a strap to "communicate" with the watch) in mind when designing the watch. I dislike the micro usb charging interface, but I would imagine if APple made a first party strap similar to this they would do away with the port completely.

Again, I am only going by, what is essentially, marketing. It sounds great on paper. It could be utterly terrible in practice. Going on looks alone it seems to add relatively little bulk, looks nice (in comparison to a silicone band, I couldn't say it is strictly worse). Price point is a little shocking though; comes in at $249,99, which effectively doubles the price of your "bought on sale" AWS.

Just got a box via UPS and opened it to find my Fitbit Blaze a full two weeks early. Doing the update and sync thing now.
Fitbit started shipping Blaze's last Friday with people getting them today. Can't wait to read some reviews and see one in person.
