Thanks very much! My Rolex is on my hand, but I want to know can I be more productive with AW... That's why I want to buy this piece. Have You ordered Black or SS Hermes AW? And why?I can only speak for myself, but I am with the S7 a first time Hermes buyer and can't wait. Had an AW since 2015 and before that solely wore my Rolex that is now sitting on a shelf. To me, although the innards are the same, the Hermes is the nearest to a nice watch/piece of jewellery.
Nice things give me pleasure (I don't wear them to 'show off' to others) and if you can spare the extra, then why not. I am looking forward to the great band (probably will become plural now too!) and great faces. After all, a watch is something you probably look at the most in a day, so why not indulge and give yourself a bit of a smile.
Just don't buy either with any resale value in mind, although the Hermes straps do hold their value quite well.
Went silver stainless, surely because I haven't had silver since S2. I had a S0 & S2 silver, a S3 SB a brief flirt with Alu for S4 then a gold for S5. Love the gold, but miss the versatility of the silver. The SB was nice, but I always missed the silver. Thanks very much! My Rolex is on my hand, but I want to know can I be more productive with AW... I have had both SS and SBSS Hermes apple watches. Series 7 will be my Hermes third SBSS model as i only had 1 SS. I just really prefer the sleekness and understated look of the black stainless steel. I do not like the regular stainless steel cause it gestill scratched up with micro scratches and I just really like the look of the black stainless. Definitely personal preference. But I’ve had several Rolexes that had the oyster band and would get the micro scratches on them and I don’t like the way they wear. So now i get my Rolex watches with the jubilee band. But I’ll tell you something I’ve worn various Rolex‘s for over 25 years and never thought I would see the day where I would put that aside and wear a Apple Watch. And the only reason I did that is because of Hermes model Apple Watch. I own six of the their leather bands And if it wasn’t for that I’m most likely wouldn’t wear an Apple Watch. I just really enjoy the luxury feel of their leather bands and the uniqueness in the colors and the patterns that Hermes comes out with. Thanks very much! I don’t exactly have a count of how many different watch faces there are but there are far more than two. Because each time Hermes comes out or Apple comes out with new watch faces the old watch faces remain. I would say there’s probably about 10 or more different watch faces and then on those there are different color combinations that match the various Hermes leather bandsHow many different own-Hermes watch faces does exist? At Apple website I see 2, but I guess those are the new ones right?
Very Similar to me. 36mm Rolex datejust with coin bezel and jubilee strap. Sits in the drawer, with very occasional use - mainly just to wind it up to keep the internals good. last year when pre-orders went live I decided OK this year I’m going to order a stainless steel. about 10 minutes after I placed the order I knew I would not want the stainless steel. So then I placed the order for the space black stainless steel and my order got pushed back and I was pissed because I knew I wanted the space black and I did not go with my first instinct. I never looked back and never regretted it. I knew when preorders for series 7 went live exactly that I would get a space black with whatever band was my most favorite. So I ordered my series 7 space black with the Rouge circuit band and then I proceeded to order the separate biscuit and the noir/bleu electricque bands.
And my gorgeous gold stainless steel Rolex 36mm datejust just sits in the drawer and sometimes only gets taken out when I go out to super dressy events. And that’s even rare that I even wear it for that since I’ll just slap on one of my Hermès leather bands and my beautiful SBSS Apple Watch looks extremely elegant classy and beautiful.
Each year I just sell the watch only and I keep the bands and then sometimes if I find I bought a band that I don’t wear then I will sell it here on this forum but I keep my Hermes bands because they are just very unique and beautifully handcrafted
Great minds think alike!!! Mine is arriving too on Friday! It’s in KY now. yes my Rolex too has the fluted bezel because I didn’t like that the smooth bezel could get scratched up like the oyster bands. So i bought it with fluted bezel and the jubilee band. An understated iconic Rolex classic combination.Very Similar to me. 36mm Rolex datejust with coin bezel and jubilee strap. With the Hermes arriving on Friday, I feel the Rolex won't get a look in at all now.
There are 3 main types of Hermes watch faces (Hermes, Hermes Circulaire, and Hermes Circuit H), 4 with the Space Black. They are all customizable. Interestingly the new Circuit H bands say that there are matching watch faces available for download (I assume just the Hermes Circuit H). That would be the first time that Apple allowed downloading an Hermes watch face with just a band purchase. How many different own-Hermes watch faces does exist? If you go to the order site and select the Circuit H bands it says down in the specs that there are matching Watch faces available for download.where did it say that?
The Hermes watches have all the Hermes faces, including the Circuit H. I have it on my Series 6. I guess we’ll find out tomorrow how the downloads work. I’m guessing it’s a redemption code tied to a serial number on a non-Hermes watch and that it’s limited to the Circuit H face.I found it. That’s strange. I didn’t get that band, but I thought all watch faces would come with the Hermes watch. That is interesting that if you buy a band Apple will let you download an exclusive watch face.
It may be that it is limited to either: (a) all Hermes watch owners, but just a convenient link to get the matching color faces; (b) that the specific matching color combination is available only to Hermes watch owners with that band; or (c) all Apple watch owners who purchase that band. But it is only listed for the Circuit H bands, which also cost $110 more than the other Swift leather bands.I would bet good money that you will never ever get an Hermès watch face on a non-Hermès Apple Watch. That “download“ text was probably just poorly worded.
We‘ll know soon enough but I can‘t imagine there will actually be a way to get that watch face onto a „regular“ Apple Watch. But it is only listed for the Circuit H bands, which also cost $110 more than the other Swift leather bands.
Yes, people in New Zealand and Australia will start receiving shipments in a few hours. We‘ll know soon enough but I can‘t imagine there will actually be a way to get that watch face onto a „regular“ Apple Watch.
so Hermes watches always get the new Hermes watch faces—even older models? The Hermes watches have all the Hermes faces, including the Circuit H. I have it on my Series 6.
