I didn’t know the watches would get additional Hermes watch faces. I thought the old ones would only get the newer Apple Watch faces. So that’s a plus.

I've seen some guys here mention that the Hermes feels classier and more of a watch to them. Having not tried on a titanium yet, what do you guys feel is different between them to make the steel feel classier?

Does titanium look and feel significantly different to aluminium?

I love the look of the titanium with the sequoia green leather link.

The Hermes will always be classier because of the special fonts and color options. However if you do not use or like the Hermes watch faces the titanium will do. Titanium can be classier, but can also come across as being plain old aluminum. It’s also incredibly light. I prefer a little heft to my watches which is why I’m thinking of getting the space black Hermes

I have the series 0 and the series 5 Hermes Edition. This time I went with 45mm titanium natural. I wanted the world clock dial as I love the look of it I’m not sure if Hermes has that dial. Also love the brushed look of the ti very very classy

Hermes watches have all the same faces as any other apple watches. The difference being Hermes watches have exclusive watch faces specifically designed to match their bands that regular apple watches do not have.

I have had both SS and SBSS Hermes apple watches. Series 7 will be my Hermes third SBSS model as i only had 1 SS. I just really prefer the sleekness and understated look of the black stainless steel. I do not like the regular stainless steel cause it gestill scratched up with micro scratches and I just really like the look of the black stainless. Definitely personal preference. But I’ve had several Rolexes that had the oyster band and would get the micro scratches on them and I don’t like the way they wear. So now i get my Rolex watches with the jubilee band. But I’ll tell you something I’ve worn various Rolex‘s for over 25 years and never thought I would see the day where I would put that aside and wear a Apple Watch. And the only reason I did that is because of Hermes model Apple Watch. I own six of the their leather bands And if it wasn’t for that I’m most likely wouldn’t wear an Apple Watch. I just really enjoy the luxury feel of their leather bands and the uniqueness in the colors and the patterns that Hermes comes out with.

last year when pre-orders went live I decided OK this year I’m going to order a stainless steel. about 10 minutes after I placed the order I knew I would not want the stainless steel. So then I placed the order for the space black stainless steel and my order got pushed back and I was pissed because I knew I wanted the space black and I did not go with my first instinct. I never looked back and never regretted it. I knew when preorders for series 7 went live exactly that I would get a space black with whatever band was my most favorite. So I ordered my series 7 space black with the Rouge circuit band and then I proceeded to order the separate biscuit and the noir/bleu electricque bands.

And my gorgeous gold stainless steel Rolex 36mm datejust just sits in the drawer and sometimes only gets taken out when I go out to super dressy events. And that’s even rare that I even wear it for that since I’ll just slap on one of my Hermès leather bands and my beautiful SBSS Apple Watch looks extremely elegant classy and beautiful.

Each year I just sell the watch only and I keep the bands and then sometimes if I find I bought a band that I don’t wear then I will sell it here on this forum but I keep my Hermes bands because they are just very unique and beautifully handcrafted

I love it! I had SS with my first Hermes series 3. Then they released the SBSS and i have had it for series since then. Last year i ordered the SS and then cancelled it and ordered the SBSS cause i knew i wouldn’t be happy with SS.

I personally always buy the Hermès watches. I love the bands and even more so I love the faces for their watches. I have always gotten the regular stainless, but this year I got the Space Black because I wanted something different and I'm very happy with it.

Either way though, they are both great choices.

I do miss wearing my Rolex for sure. I have always worn a luxury watch. But I don’t miss how heavy my Rolex is to wear. The Apple Watch does make my life more productive. I also like that I can get phone calls, text messages and my work email on it and not have to to carry my iPhone 13 promax around all the time. That to me is the best feature of having the watch. Plus all the other notifications I get.

Same for me - I miss the Rolex as it does make me smile everytime I glance at the time. The Hèrmes though does make me smile too and I just went to the shops and forgot my iPhone. Managed to call the wife, check my list and pay for it without needing to come home first. My Rolex won't do that.

Very Similar to me. 36mm Rolex datejust with coin bezel and jubilee strap. Sits in the drawer, with very occasional use - mainly just to wind it up to keep the internals good. I never thought I would see the day that I wouldn't wear it, but 2015 changed it all with the Apple watch.

With the Hermes arriving on Friday, I feel the Rolex won't get a look in at all now.

That's my fear as well, my Just Date will just sit in the drawer when my 'First' SS AW arrives. I still love the feel and look of my Rolex though, but time moves on. (pun intended)

Ti: cheaper, lighter on the wrist, „classier“ (less flashy) brushed finish.
Hermès: awesome leather strap, best watch faces.

Well, that depends on personal preference. I’d say:

Ti: cheaper, lighter on the wrist
Hermès: classier, higher end, best watches faces, most amazing straps out there

I have always bought the aluminum watches, and this time I wanted a SS, Ti or Hermès. After weeks of thinking about it, I chose the Hermès and I’m glad I did. The leather bands are so soft and by far the most comfortable bands I have ever used (I have maybe 15 total, 3 Hermès).

The Hermès edition towers above all others in my opinion, because it elevates the Apple Watch from just a smart watch to a stunningly beautiful high-end watch. It’s not flashy either. 99% of people who see it just think it’s a SS watch. Only one person asked if was the Hermès and that’s because of the band. No one else has noticed, and I like that. I don’t like compliments or attention, LOL.
