iDVD, iWeb, Font book :p, I rarely use Dashboard, though it's cool occasionally, automator, stickies, Image capture, iPhoto, DVD Player, Chess. Parental controls and all that jive, I don't use, either. I love spaces and expose, though.

garage band
front row
time machine (not yet plan too)
imovie (i have FCS)
ichat/isight
automator - i don't understand it
iweb

iBloat (don't need it)
Time Machine (<CCC)
Spaces (poorly designed)
Mail, iChat, etc (not for me).

I do use Spaces when I want a quick look at a clean screen (desktop, no windows).

Cover Flow - used it when Leopard first came out...turned it off and not touched it ever since!
iDVD
iMovie
Hot Corners
Front Row
Garage Band
iCal - I just remember things the old fashioned way
iChat
iWeb
Photo Booth
Stickies
Automator

I'm sure there's more I don't use to be honest!

I'm starting to get really interested in the Smart Folders, but I can't figure out how I want to use them.
Same here. They sound clever, but I don't see how they're actually useful. I'd be interested in hearing how others use them.

I know what you mean, the concept sounds great but who would use it right? Well I do use the Smart Mailbox feature in Mail. It really helps me separate emails so I can easily get every email sent to me from each person rather than fishing for them.
On the Smart Folders thing, it could very helpful if you generally searched on your computer for PDF's or JPEG's or GIF's or TIFF's and you want to narrow it down to each one of those rather than choosing a Smart Folder for all images which would result in getting all of those.

Smart Folders could also be useful if you needed to constantly search the system for emails from a specific person containing a range of dates to reduce you having to fish around.

That's how I see it -- but I don't work like that, needing files of a certain type scattered willy-nilly around the computer. It might make sense if I used a Mac professionally.

I do use Rules in Mail to sort incoming mail from some friends and family. I wish I could apply rules to Sent mail so it would go to the appropriate folder rather than all being lumped into the Sent folder.

Coverflow in finder (??), Frontrow, Automator, Bonjour (Only have one Mac ATM), iDVD, iMovie and GarageBand.

The list goes on.

Who in their right mind doesn't use Expose?

i find that having the scroll wheel button on my mouse is A LOT nicer than a hot corner for expose

I find hot corners awesome for a trackpad. With a Mighty Mouse I like to squeeze the sides to have Exposé All Windows, and click the trackball for Dashboard.

Interesting. I only use Hot Corners as a quick way of locking my computer to turn the screensaver on. Otherwise, I find Hot Corners to be not to my liking. They are cool - but something I don't use.

i dont use:
  • iWeb
  • iDVD
  • iMovie
  • Application in Utilites folder (some are usefull, other are just for programmers)
  • iChat video chat, i use screensharing to control other mac, even shutdown it :)
  • Coverflow... nice eyecandy but useless for me.
  • Parental control
  • Universal access
  • Quicktime, rather user VLC to play videos
  • Safari RSS
the list can keep going if i look more :p

Handy on the trackpad. But even with my mouse, I use hot corners for using Expose with a file manipulation. Clicking multiple buttons on the mouse can be tricky.

I use the top right hot corner for my screen saver. I use this with the screen saver lock feature. This is my preferred way to deny access to my console when I'm away from my desk for a minute or two: just flick my mouse to the top right corner and go on with my life. (It also does it automatically after five minutes).

Exposé. . it never occurs to me to use it, and I don't feel any need to integrate it into my workflow.

I don't use Front Row either, or iWork.

expose is amazing. I can't imagine not using it. Its one of the highlights for me on OSX

There are threads on Mac features you love and Mac features you hate. I'm curious what Mac features you think are really cool, yet have no use for? What tools or Leopard upgrades looked great at the Apple store, but really, aren't something useful to you?

I can't fathom a use for the iSight camera. I wish I did, it's such a neat little thing. But it's just wasted plastic in my Mac. Maybe if I had someone to iChat with, but when my wife's Mac is on the other side of the office from mine, it's another nifty gadget I don't get.

I haven't touched FrontRow since the first week I had my MBP. And finally, as neat as it looks, Finder's Cover Flow remains collecting dust on my system, ignored as I use Column View.

All these things, and the 3d dock, which is now 2d.

I haven't touched Spaces either.

I have never understood Automator. Could someone explain to me what it could be used for?

Let's say you want to change 500 photos into black and white, and instead of doing each one at a time, you do one, and automator does the process for the next 499. But, it is not fully useable, even with the new 'recording' function.

I use it to import video from my digital camera into iMovie. It does the following:
* Quits iPhoto (auto runs when camera is connected)
* Copies movies from camera and removes files from camera when done
* Converts video from MPEG1 to H.264 with MPEG StreamClip
* Imports converted video into iMovie 08

It's also a handy way to wrap up little command-line tools into a clickable applications, like to set an icon as the top Stacks icon.

Mainly
iweb
ichat and isight
iphoto (want to use, but don't understand some pieces of it)
may be more
