Going back on Monday :(

Looking forward to seeing some people at school but not actually doing work!!!

Yeah, I start class again on Monday. But I am really looking forward to it. All of my Unix and programming classes start. :D

ive had dec 13-jan 22 off

college is great

word to that.... the only bad part is their is nothing to do. so for the past few weeks i've been staying up until 4ish watching CSI miami on A&E (i think) along with george lopez.... <-
man i feel like a bum :p

I must be sick. Just finished grad school on the 17th and toying with law school. Hmmm.

Anyway just get your **** done. You'll be proud of yourself in the long run. MR will be here when you get back.

School starts monday, my earliest class is at 10:40am (and it's still too early!). I'm going back tomorrow. I originally planned on leaving on the 4th but today is my sisters birthday so I stayed the extra day. Boy I cant wait for the 6 hr drive, should be fun:rolleyes:. At least this time I'm not gonna be alone, a friend of mine needed a ride up.

I'm glad I don't have to do that stuff anymore. But I do miss the simplicity in being told what to do, strange as that may seem.

I go back Monday. I am definitely not looking forward to it. I have a week of crap ahead. A Chem test, a English essay, and then finals on Friday and the following Monday, I believe. Ugh. I'm supposed to retain my knowledge of Spanish and Chemistry over break? I can't even remember the last thing we did in Chemistry. Blaaah. I also had to wake up at 9 this morning to finish Gatsby. And I have some Spanish journals to do.

The only thing to look foreward to is a new term in a week. Graphic Design intern = awesome class.

I start back on the 14th. This will be the last big break I have before I'm done with my Masters. I start my thesis this semester and don't stop until it's done next December. Unfortunately, my cat fell ill less than a week ago and had to have emergency surgery on New Years Eve. So it's been a stressful week!

I guess I'm weird -- I don't look forward to the stress, but I am glad to be getting back into the swing of things. Plus I am taking Neuroscience and Factor Analysis, both of which I am looking forward to!

 You must be mad! The day I miss being told what to do is the day I buy a PC! :D

:p

Owning and running a business just wears on you sometimes. I could go on and on. But it does have its perks. Now I get up when I feel like it, which is nice. No more 6:30 AM crap.

I know the feeling well. Sometimes I find myself wondering what it would be like to be a cubicle-rat punching a clock five days a week....

I went back on the 3rd as well... at 8:30 AM! And it takes me an hour on the train to get to central London (South Kensington). It has been a shock to the system after Christmas, when I could get up after 12 every day, now I'm back to leaving my house at 7AM, and getting home at 7PM. :(

But I do quite like my college so it's not all bad. :)

Get the best of all worlds .... become a teacher .. :)

I'm planning on doing this once I do a little run through my career in the industry. I applied to be a teacher but didn't get it since I just graduated, even though my university lecturer was 21 and had just graduated when I started!

I can bet there's so much job satisfaction from teaching.

I start school on Monday. :( I'm not particularly thrilled because I need to read the last half of 1984 and all of the Alchemist by then, and I'm not looking forward to seeing my classmates. Plus, my sister doesn't return until February 1st, which makes it all the more painful.

When do/did you return?

haha! Hey what a coincidence, i have to read 1984 by monday as well.... *begins reading frantically*

Yeah...what year are you? I'm a freshman, and my sister didn't read it until senior year, but I am also in the honors course.

They're both dystopian, but Animal farm is about talking animals and not creepy Inner Party members (who could also be animals). And Animal Farm is much shorter so yeah, it could be better.

Bleh. I've had the last 2 weeks off from my day job (loved it). But I still had to work at my part time job (retail, yuck). Get to go back to my full time job on Monday. The winter grind it starting up.

Oh man, I can't stand that book. Just finished reading it, really stupid ending. (Yes, I get it, power corrupts, the farm is the Soviet Union, blah blah bah, that doesn't change how much the ending sucked.:p)

I go back to school on Tuesday. Kind of looking forward to seeing my friends, weary of the crapload of homework we are sure to receive.
