Two days in for me and it's still great. Typically with the Florida heat a skin would've failed or shown signs by now.

Time will tell but I think the biggest factor is the install. If you line up the edges correct and get the sides flat. There is less area to get snagged and such.

I agree about the edges lining up is the biggest way to deter the wrap lifting up. I used some 1000 grit sandpaper to file down the little bit of edge I felt after doing my install. If doesn't take much to knock the little bit of edge off and then you cant tell where the sections meet and it feels seamless.

We have a GOOF policy. Simply reach out to us and we'll take care of the replacement.

It will not work with the Proclip, it's an extremely tight fit. :( Would recommend their Proclip case.

Note to everyone: I'm leaving town for a couple of days and will be back Tuesday. I'll try to pop in during to answer any questions.

Have a Good Weekend!

I tried to cancel my order by emailing the support page I found on the website but I guess they didn't get it since my order shipped today. Just hoping I don't have to pay for return shipping or something like that.

If you messaged them in advance they most likely caught it. Monday's are CRAZY. Lately thousand of messages from the weekend so you might not see a reply for 24 hours.

Thank You!

Got my carbon fiber slickwrap Friday, great quality and customer service! The wrap is cut perfectly to fit the iPhone. First time doing a wrap so I followed there install video and I'm pretty happy with the install. I didn't get the corners exactly perfect but I think there pretty close.

Looks Awesome!

Huge thanks!

I've been intrigued by the wood cases for a while, but I'm not really a "case guy." Do these improve your grip on the phone at all? I'm considering getting just the back wrap in Maple to go on a Silver/White iPhone 6+.

Yes they do. The wood will offer a slight increase in grip to OEM. It's a smooth finish with deep and texture to mimic the real wood.

Hope this helps.

Really impressed with the install jobs in this thread!

Bought 2x wraps from stick er boy and screwed them both. The corners all weren't smooth =(

Second One, Not Thrilled

I just received my second slick wrap for my iPhone 6, as the corners on the first one (black carbon fiber) just didn't work out well. The people at SlickWraps sent me a Black, Colors Series Wrap this time. I was told that the colors series has a "sandstone" finish and the corners contour better to the curves of the phone.

Let me just say that I'm a very handy guy and was incredibly careful and patient in these installations. Yes, this new wrap does contour better to the edges, but not well enough for me to be content to stick with it. The corners are all wrinkled in the very edges. I suspect that most of people's installs have this problem, but it's not visible from the vantage points of most of the photos I've seen.

I've used two different blow dryers on these installs, but to no avail.

One thing I will say is that the level of customer service I've received through this process has been excellent. I'd be interested to try the clear wrap, because it looks like the edges don't touch on the corners, which may fix the problem. I've also had a couple wet install back skins that haven't had this issue at all, but they haven't been as high quality in terms of material.

Also, the texture on the color series wrap is simply not "sandstone." It may look like sandstone (and maybe even a little like leather), but it feels like rough plastic. Not necessarily a bad thing, but for what it's worth, I liked the texture of the carbon fiber wrap more.

I did the install on vacation with a hotel blow dyer and kids running around while getting ready to go out to dinner in about 5 minutes. I was also using the phone and playing my fam in the process. Came out perfect.

Technique was the biggest thing. That's the point of the above. Patience won't matter if the process you're using is wrong.

Line up and lay down main part. Heat corners then apply slowly a finger width at a time. The outer most edges should be the last part you apply. Working in that order it's hard to get wrinkles as you're just following the natural path the skin wants to fall in. Curious on process you used

Hi,

Any updates with regards to the availability of the clear matt wrap? I was going to order few from ********** until i came across this thread.

Thanks
Sal
