My SlickWraps Ordering Experience (Thus Far)
I'm sure I'm going to sound like a complainer here, but wanted to share my experience (thus far - not concluded) with everyone. I ordered a SlickWraps carbon fiber back wrap for my 6 on Tuesday at 11AM (it says on their site that orders usually ship same-day if ordered before 2PM). Anyway, I assumed it would ship same-day and wanted it by today, so I paid for 1-2 day shipping. I figured "usually same day" meant that maybe it would ship the next day, and I was cool with that.
I received an email from SlickWraps a little after 11AM yesterday that my order had shipped, yet as of this morning there's still no location listed on the tracking page. So, I decided to hop on SlickWraps' web page and chat with a customer service rep to figure out if it's actually shipped, and if so where it's coming from. I chatted with a very helpful rep named Andi, and she informed me that due to large quantities of orders, it hasn't shipped yet. That said, I understand that they may be very busy right now, but she did tell me that my item was in stock, so I'm a bit confused as to why it hasn't yet shipped, especially considering that I received an email before noon yesterday stating that it "has shipped." Andi told me that tracking numbers and shipment emails are sent not when the order actually ships, but when it is processed.
When I paid extra for 1-2 day shipping on Tuesday, I assumed that best-case scenario I'd receive it on Wednesday, and worst case Friday. However, it sounds like my order is just sitting there and hasn't yet shipped. It's coming from Kansas, and I'd be shocked if I receive it tomorrow with USPS 1-2 day shipping.
I asked Andi if she can expedite the shipping for me and upgrade it to next day air. She said she has to track my order down, but that she'd see what she can do.
I guess I'm a bit spoiled by Amazon Prime shipping.
So in all it's been an underwhelming order experience, but not totally shocking for a smaller business and Andi has been helpful thus far - let's see how it ends up! (I'll also post pics and a detailed review after installation and focus on pics of the corners, which people seem to leave out in their posts, as well as how much grippier it is than the naked phone, and how much I feel the edge of the wrap when swiping from the edges).
TL;DR:
-Says "item in stock and usually ships same day if ordered before 2PM"
-Ordered at 11AM and paid extra for 1-2 day shipping
-Two days later still hasn't shipped
-Andi at SlickWraps checking on my order to see if she can expedite to 1-day shipping (she was very helpful and has done a good job)
-I'm spoiled rotten by Amazon Prime, and need to learn to be a little more patient!

Andi just emailed me to let me know that she upgraded my shipping to UPS Next Day! I definitely can't complain about the customer service! Thanks Andi and Weston! Pics and a review to come this weekend (provided that I get it tomorrow)!
