I already have the razer kishi for this, works great when playing right on the iphone (though a bit of a bummer that I have to remove my bumper case when I want to use it, 1st world problems I know).

You know what would be REALLY cool? If one of these joycon manufacturers would allow me to use the iphone with the controller attached to play games on my ipad. I only want to carry one controller with me when I travel and the kishi collapses up real nice. If I could use it to play games on my ipad with its larger screen, that would be the bee's knees.

I submitted the request to razer for them to consider. Though it's looking like I might wind up selling it and swiping one of my daughter's pair of switch joycons so I could use them on either/or.

Woah, this is awesome! I might have to get one! Too bad the sticks aren’t both on the bottom like PS, but not the end of the world.

Anyone know if this works with an Apple leather case on the 13 Pro? If so instant buy!

This is my issue. 1 gig fiber/ethernet and still get stuttering and enough input delay that I can't play MLB The Show with it.
I think it has more to do with ping. I had cable 1Gbps down and like 80Mbps up, and the ping sucked, and remote play sucked. When they added fiber to our neighborhood last autumn, I was able to switch to that for less money (lol) and my ping was only a few ms. Remote play was feasible, depending on the game.
if only we had emulators in the AppStore.. until then, I will just keep toting this:

I love ANBERNIC, but that one looks hideous with the original gameboy screen combined with the wood, lol. wish it was all black around the display or something because the wood itself looks nice.

I have this metal one in matte black and I love it. The RG351M.

Remote play works great for me. Admittedly I'd never play an online game via remote play as there is some input lag.
I’m not positive and not an expert my any means but I think the maximum upload speed you have with your internet service provider on the network your PS4/PS5 is connected to via Ethernet would also be very important. If you don’t have a fast upload speed and a steady connection via Ethernet it’s like having a website that loads slowly because the server is connected to a network with slow uploads. I also noticed for me at least PS4/PS5 remote play app is almost useless for me on my iPhone unless I am connected to the 5GHz band WiFi instead of the 2.4GHz band WiFi. The 5GHz band has faster speeds but a smaller range/distance from the router so you might have to be fairly close to your router.

I know. Thats what I love about it. I have others including the horizontals, but my faux woodgrain vertical is what gets the attention.

Lightening port = DOA

It’s 2022. Even Apple is milking the last year or two of lightning before they gradually switch everything over the next 24 months.

Emulation on iPhone and Android. Never liked it even when we had it.

Always cumbersome. Finicky. Bad touch controls. Stick on controllers yuck.

The best handheld emulation is DIY Raspberry Pi. They feel native. They don’t feel like emulation. They look and feel like the real deal.

There are also hardware upgrades like IPS screens and rechargable batteries for original handhelds like Game Boy. So cheap and not hard to do.

You're missing out then since Spider-Man Remastered and Returnal are arriving for Deck soon.

I may take another look at it next year. I just don't play a lot of mobile stuff except for MAME, SNES, NeoGeo, etc. and my Anbernic handheld is really good for that.

My Deck has been a godsend for the moments I'm away from my PC a lot. I've been diving into Final Fantasy 7 Remake on it, as well as Halo and Grand Theft Auto Online. I'm looking forward to replaying Persona 5 Royal on it in October.
